  • Good Evening fellow PaDders,

Wow, some great PaDs today (angelicmary85 springs to mind).

Sorry to hear you had a rubbish day EverTheOptimist - hope you're feeling a bit better now and that the rest of the week is better now we're over the 'hump' (now I know what that is).

**PJF sends virtual hug to anyone who needs one (or anyone who wants one for that matter**

My PaD for today is £5.31

My mission for tomorrow is to go to the bank so I can PaD what was in my Money Pig (who is being monitored carefully for any signs of a runny snout and sneezes). At least it will give me a chance to stock up on free pens from Barclays :D

Ok, so food for the day:
    Breakfast:
2 pieces of white toast with chocolate spread :o:D
    During the day:
    2 packets of crisps
1 bowl of Cheerios with skimmed milk
1/2 pt skimmed milk to drink
    1 glass fruit juice
    2 cups of tea
    1 satsuma
    Dinner:
    3 chicken/pepper/mushroom fajitas

And that's it... I usually eat more on days when I am at home, so thats pretty good. Work days I don't usually have time to eat loads, although the coffee intake goes up (don't drink it at home!)

    Good evening

Welcome to all newbies and hi to old timers.

This site is addictive but it works. Paying a little off a debt or two every day does help and keep us focussed. Certainly makes me think twice about spending money. I am always looking for ways to reduce my outgoings ... water meter...careful use of gas and electricity...phone.... cook food to last two days... make repairs to clothes and household items rather than buy new. I hope that does not make me a miser !

I am sure my family think I am 'tight' but then I feel content (even smug) knowing that I am living well (albeit cheaply) whilst paying off my debts and they are the ones complaining about huge bills

Well done to everyone who has made a pad. Great news to hear that some of you are receiving tidy sums of money owed to you. That really helps to give the debts a pounding.

Pad £20 for me today to NW overdraft. I think NW staff are probably fed up with me visiting them, but while I am queuing to make payments, I am not spending! and as FAL says ... every little helps.

    Meanwhile... love the jokes....:rotfl:
Hope those of you dieting continue to shed the pounds :T
    Good night

    miss t

  • A couple of DDs gone out during the night totalling £417.51
At the moment though this is fool's gold because it's coming out of overdraft money. With the money that's going through clearance and money due in shortly, I should be able to plug the overdraft by mid month. I'm not logging overdraft as debt as it fluctuates regularly and I'm in and out of overdraft like a yoyo still. Same thing with a certain credit card that I use for some DDs and charges no interest as I clear it each month.
I'm going door knocking at the weekend to get a bit more work in.

    :hello: Hey everyone!

OoO yay the sun is shining today at long last! Hope everyone's doing OK? It's nearly the weekend again - that is good news.
£1 to the Cosmotini mug today.

Ants in the house and in the kitchen NOT GOOD! :( I'm getting paranoid I keep seeing things move out of the corner of my eye! I'll be scrubbing the house tonight with bleech and whatever else I can get my hands on to get rid of the barstools!

    Have a good day everyone!
