Thanks! You'd be more than welcome to session up with me! I'm always starving come weigh in so I can be at my lightest when I step on the scales  :rotfl: I think you could get away with just the books but with the place down the road from me they do a monthly 'bring food to the meeting' night onomnom and everyone seems fab. You can just pop in jump on the scales and go. I did that last night
xx
awww, thanks! (blushes!) i suspect, having checked out the SW website, that you do the b'wood one at 7pm. that time doesn't work for me, due to DH being away a lot & having to do a beavers run/put two kids to bed. but thank you! i may check out one of the day time ones once we are straight again...there seem to be loads about. i hope they still do food ones though - maybe brunch!? xxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Evening All,
When I logged on earlier I didn't make a pad...this was due to me sitting at the computer in shock for a few mins before I turned the computer off and shouted upstairs to tell OH about being rich!!
I had logged onto online banking and was flicking between catching up on posts and logging into my account when I swear to god I nearly had a heart attack when I seen my balance...it was alot more than I thought it was going to be!!
Tax credits hadn't given us enough last year so they make a rather nice deposit into the bank this morning! I phoned to check all was o.k though and they said go ahead and spend it!
So, although I've barely touched it (having money scares me!) I've padded £500 to Barclays (or I will when they're online service is working again)
£95 to council (which clears our 'arrears'!!!)
So that's my day...I won't tell you how much I spent when I went shopping earlier but I only spend £14 on me!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
Aim for 2011 - pay off car loan £260.00 saved

This is wicked news !! Well done for the massive PADs (especially getting the stinky council off your back!) and thank goodness those tax people get it right once in a while rather than being so quick to take money back when they've got it wrong (again)!! :T:T
You must be top o' the world angelic. High fives all round from the PAD thread!Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D

Evening guys
Hope everyone is well.
I made my PaD this morning, but feeling a bit rubbish at mo, so thought i'd pop on here as everyone on the DFW forum are so lovely and positive.
Anyway i received this the other day and it made me giggle - other ones are too rude to post!!
Proof that men have better friends:
A woman didnt come home one night, the next morning she told her husband she'd slept over at a friends house.
Husband calls her 10 best friends.
None of them know anything about it.
Man didnt come home one night, the next morning he told his wife he'd slept over at a friends house.
Wife calls his 10 best friends.
8 confirm that he slept over and 2 said he was still there.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
