Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end.

He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.

Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled
him out. When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, 'Edna, I have good news
and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness.

The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead.'

Edna replied, 'He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry.
How soon can I go home?'

LOL! Thats brilliant Green, I love your daily jokes!

TomTom sorry to hear about ur Grandad (its taking me a while to catch up!) but its nice that you can use the money for your building work

Andy, my vote is for the Nokia too, I only went away from Nokias twice in my life, and never again (except maybe for the iPhone :o )

Danko congrats ion the weightloss, I'm doing my first PAD weigh-in tomorrow and hope to have lost at least 1lb:eek:

PAD for me toady is £8.46, rounding down my account....
So my first PAD weigh-in tomorrow:eek: Haven't been great at keeping record of what I've been eating having not been here regularly over the last few days!
    So yesterday I ate:
2 pieces of toast/butter (well Clover)
1 small bowl of chilli con carne (breakfast cereal bowl, no rice - only because I couldn't be bothered to cook it!)
    4 slices grilled haloumi (Yummy!)
    Two glasses of cava
    2 cups of black tea/milk
    1 cup peppermint tea

    doesn't look too bad I guess.....

I love this idea, especially as I am Self Employed, making a small payment when I have it rather than waiting until the end of the month when I don't makes a lot of sense ;)
Anyway I have a lot of credit card debt so I need to decide on which card to PAD first
See you all next Monday with my first PAD, cos I wanna be in your gang your gang :rotfl:

    Hi scouselad hellowave.gif

Welcome to the madhouse ! Good luck with your payment a day , either small or large it's surprising how quickly it all adds up . Everybody is really great on here which really helps to keep you motivated ...

Hi all, a small pad of 50p for me today as very poor just now.

Had good fun with my nephews yesterday but was exhausted after a few hours - think I will stick with cats for now! The two year old is going through a phase of screaming and saying "NO!" all the time. The seven year old just wanted to kill his little brother cos he "couldn't concentrate" on his homework! (Think that might have been the cartoons though). God help him as he has twin sisters who aren't even one yet - not much concentrating going on in that house!

Andy, I have the touch screen Nokia and really like it but I still can't figure out how to use things on it.( Like the camera  ). However, I'm not very technically minded. It hasn't crashed or frozen so far though and have had it a couple of months now. My OH says it's not very intuitive and I'm too lazy to read the manual.:rotfl:

Afternoon Padders. Haven't had a proper chance to catch up yet, will pop back later when I'm not so rushed.

In the meantime my pad is £20 to barclays. Am hoping to throw at extra £50 at it today if my first comp win arrives in the post!

Wishing you all a luffly day xx

Thanks for the phone advice folks ! :T:T

One of the guys at work has the new Nokia and I had a "little play" earlier and like that one - so ordered it today.

Quidco cashback, dialaphone instant cashback and old phone sale should net me £250 to throw at the Capital over the next couple of months, and my monthly bill should stay around the same with more minutes. RESULT !!

Great total yesterday by the way ! Keep up the PADs..!!
