Thank you both. I will definately check out joes sausages as we eat loads in our house. When I worked for SW I convinced our local butcher to do syn free sausages and burgers but he has since stopped.... and was quite expensive too. I can make the burgers myself but can't be bothered with the faff of sausage making .

The recipe link at the front of this thread isn't working for me but I will check out minimims - thanks again

I am not sure I want to admit to this, but , tonight I will be having the dinner I planned for last night.

Wonderful hubby did a lovely thing you see, he popped into Waitrose to pick something up, and noticed they had yellow stickered all their special curry meals - down to 25p :eek: so, being a cost concious lad picked up a chicken korma, a chicken tikka masala, a box of pilau rice, lentil dal and a bread. All for £1.25

... and we ate it

Honestly though, we both agreed it was a 'bit bland' and really lacking in textures (oh, and not a veg in sight ) goes to show - it might be a bargain, but we really can do better making our own at home (and I make some fantastic curries even if I do say so myself)

Oh well, today is another day... :rolleyes:

Well Damn it!

Asda haved messed my delivery up:mad:, gave me different meringue nests. So I looked them up on the SW website and they contain 10 syns each! :mad: I am still going to make the dessert but say this it what i should have used, I think people will still eat it.

thank you for the sausage list..... that's really helpful.

I've tried a lot of the low cal/syn sausages before and not found the taste to be all that good.

Think i'll be trying joes sausages seeing as a couple of people have recommended them.

1. Cook a SW meal you have NEVER had before!
Said i would make the baked bean lasange, never got round to that yet but did make the sw egg custard & the tikka masala sauce..
2. Do 15 mins EXTRA exercise in addition to what you normally do! - Have taken my dog on a few extra walks this week.
3. Buy and eat a piece of fruit you have not had for ages! -Got a grapefruit
4. Add your own personal target for the week here. lost 1.5lb at WI this morning, not as much as i hoped but it is my *star week.

So i don`t think i`m doing too bad 8.5lb in 2 weeks. heres my plan for today:

B: glass water & a banana (was in a hurry!)
L: jkt pot & beans with 42g reduced fat cheddar (HEA) glass water & diet coke. an orange
mushrooms egg grilled toms. bacon (HEB) & chopped up potato fryed in frylight. mullerlight. another glass water.
later tonight will have 2 slices ww wholemeal bread with marmite.pkt of aldi cheese curls for 3.5 syns. x
