Good evening all! Well I joined SW on 9th March and went back on 16th March for first weigh in and had lost 2.5lbs. Not very much in the grand scheme of things considering how much I have to lose but enough to keep me on track and wanting to return. Over the weekend before I was due to go back I did some thinking and realised I really can't afford the weekly fees (I'm on a DMP) so have decided to go it alone but with the support of this thread. :T
Not sure how I compare my weight due to the change in scales and weighing time ie at SW I weighed in the evening fully clothed but now weigh first thing in the morning and not wearing much
So here goes (excuse the lack of stones but at the moment too embarrassed to put the amount on here!)
Wk 1 -- st 11.5lbs
Wk 2 -- st 9 lbs
Wk 3 -- st 6 lbs
Wk 4 -- st 2 lbs
So it looks as though I've lost 9.5lbs but thats not a true reflection cos of reasons above....

Hey.... what I do is take all my measurements once a month, and go to boots and weigh myself for 70p and get a body fat percentage and everything with it.... once a week, super accurate and only costs 50 - 70p a week instead of group prices...
so when my weight doesnt change that much, when i go and see my measurements each month it makes a HUGE difference to how i feel about my weight loss... how about trying that?"A Peakcock that sits on its tail feathers is just another damn Turkey' - Dolly Parton

That's a really moving story - and really inspiring that you've found the willpower to step back up again. It makes me think about how important our readiness to make and maintain lifestyle changes is in this SW malarky. Relapses are a natural part of making changes - the important thing is recovering motivation and self-belief so you can get over that blip and keep going. Sounds like you're there! I've found using a psychological model of change helpful when I think about my own on-off-onn journey with weight loss. It puts relapses in perspective:

Tasty syn fress sausages - yes, take a look at joes sausages (google it), they are certified syn free, and I had a delivery not long ago and they are good. They freeze well, which is just as well as minimum order is 8 packets (they also do burgers and marinated meat like peppered pork etc).
The ones I have tried so far are fairly smooth textured, but nice and strongly flavoured - certainly lots of seasoning and spices being used ...
maybe there is someone you can split an order with
I *think* I posted a link to the recipe pages on my first page post. Have a peek there, if not I shall try and dig it out for you ..:rolleyes:0 -
Hey all,
Trying to get back into doing this properly - had a bit of a 'mare of a month in March - just seemed to be eating out and drinking loads!I still lost 3lbs overall - so not a disaster - but not exactly a huge loss in a month!
Started again yesterday (Like it seems I do every Monday morning?!). Did well all day - completely syn free - but gave into temptation and had a cream egg (well actually, 2 creme eggs) at the end of the day!
Does anyone know how many syns are in them?
