To make this forum a bit more fun! I have decided to do a challenge of the week and also recipe of the week. Both can be found on the first page of this thread!

This week's recipe of the week is Marion's Breakfast Rice and the Challenge of the Week is to try a fruit or vegetable that you have never tried before. More details can be found on page 1.
  • Hi all decided to bite the bullet and post on here!
Sharing with everyone might make me try to be a bit better at sticking to the SW plan.

    Height: 5'7"
    Weight: 19stone !!!!!!
Aiming to lose 2-3lbs per week if I can or more if possible.
Have been sticking to the SW plan - green days mostly since mondayand have been eating as follows:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms one slice wholemeal toast - dry HEB
Lunch: Salad and fruit or Jacket potato with beans and salad,
Dinner: Meat whichever I have as a HEB with rice and salad or SW chips and beans and salad.
Snacks: Muller Lite Yogs, grapes kiwi bananas and strawberries, one mug shot chicken flavour - free on green.
Can't afford to go to the classes but a friend goes and shares her books with me.
Have stopped drinking Blackcurrant as I can't stand anything with sweetener in it - which limits what I can have and how to make recipes that have sweetener in them.
I have tried to access the recipe page but my pc says it is a bad url? could someone send me a link please.
Thank you for yuor support these pages are really helpful and sorry my post is so long!!
  • I shall also be trying Marion's rice today :-)
  • I have just had to have a slice of birthday cake... my ds is four today and it would have been rude to refuse a slice of his Ben10 cake :D

    Hi everyone,
I am slowly getting to grips with the plan, am doing EE and think it is working ok so far. Went out for lunch yesterday with friends and while they all had something fried and chips, I had jacket pot with bacon, onions and a dollop of creme fraiche (quite proud of myself for that, as before my resolve would always of crumbled just at the last minute)

Only thing i am struggling with is what i am going to do for breakfast during the week that is quick and easy, i really don't have time to cook in the morning and so i think that my HE are both gonna be used on breakfast. Had loads of time today so had bacon, eggs, mushrooms & beans yuuuuuuummmmmm!

I am really going to have to be organised so that i dont slip up during Mon-Thurs when i am at work.

How about trying Marions rice for brekkie? You can make it the night before & warm it up in the micro in the morning or eat it cold.

Free on green or EE & will save your HE's for the day.

    1. Cook a SW meal you have NEVER had before!
still need to do the curry, hopefully tomorrow
    2. Do 15 mins EXTRA exercise in addition to what you normally do!
Didn't go to the van, so haven't done any walking, but I am planning to walk to school in the morning and at lunchtime-weather permitting

    3. Buy and eat a piece of fruit you have not had for ages!
Blackberries, kiwi fruit and clementines an dwatermelon were delivered yesterday, and I have eaten half the blackberries already, yum
    4. Add your own personal target for the week here.
    To lose 1lb

Good evening all, hope you are all well, I have been bad again this weekend-just rubbish food in general. I have cooked some potatos and frozen them ready for a quick lunch/dinner with salmon/chicken, whatever....

I have printed off some recipes from the SW site and copied some from their cook book(All seasons?), so I shouldn,t have any more excuses, Will do a mealplan in the moning,
Good night all, will try and pop in in the morning...

Not sure what happened with the colour and sizing in no.2, but when I come into edit it's fine?????
