  • Hi everyone,

I have been reading this thread for about 6 weeks now but I have decided that I really should join in...... I have been doing slimming world for about 7 weeks and have decided not to go to class anymore as I really am not finding any benefit to going, I would rather put the oney to one side to buy myself a treat every now and again.

I started at 19st 1lb and am currently 18st so am feeling pretty good about it but I know I have a long long way to go. The thing with Slimming world is that I really don't feel like I am on a diet so I really can't see myself giving up like I have before on weight watchers.

I work full time and have two kids so I am really busy mostof the time... I find its hardest when they are in bed and my OH is on his computer!!

Anyway.... Thats the bit about me over:A

While I'm on, does anyone know how many syns are in the Morrisons Eat Smart egg Mayo? I m really going to miss the online syns calculater thingie.

    Thanks

Does anyone have a recipe for any of the Slimming world quiche's please? There used to be a link on here for slimming world recipes, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

  • OK - I am starting to feel a touch paranoid here, but on the last thread 'slimming world thread' I had 'post 3' which had all the links to the recipes, details of plan etc - I was going to copy it and move it to the first page of this thread (to help questions like Jolenes above), but it has disappeared.

I am starting to wonder if the detailed info about SW was too much information IYKWIM ...

Link to the recipe index is here:-

.. have also added this to the first page so it can be found again :)

Thankyou Angie, I thought we had links to information at the start of the thread, it was really helpful.

Just looked at the recipes for quiche, don''t really fancy any of those fillings, can anyone tell me if you you can put in anything in these and still eat them cold etc. I have not made one before and fancy trying one.

  • yes - anyfilling you fancy -

an 'all day breakfast' one - ie free sausages, bacon, sliced tomato etc is tasty

    ham and sweetcorn

potato and pea (bit more of a fritata)

    mushroom and herbs

just pick some ing that you would put in a quiche and go from there - I imagine salmon and asparagus would be great :D

They will all be fine cold, and you can fit them to red/green or EE as you require

You do now - I have added them to my first page post. If there is anything else you would like added as a reference I can do that, but by the looks of it, I won't add the 'everything you need to know about SW' as that has been deleted.

Flat Eric took up a chunk of the first page, but I am not sure where she has got to recently  . Hope all is well
