  • Aww thank you lovely people :-)
I have a question maybe someone could help, i want to make a stuffed quorn fillet. Was thinking thaw it out, cut a slice into it, mix together some fresh chopped parsley with 2 laughing cow extra light and some crushed garlic and stuff. Then i was going to make up some ainsley harriot tomato cous cous but make it a bit drier. Beat an egg, dip the stuffed fillet in the egg, then in the cous cous and then bake it in the oven. Can anyone tell me is this is misuse of food? ( the cous cous i mean ) or would it be allowed? thanks x olly

Trouble is i have no food in the house so will have to get my thinking cap on as to what i will have for my tea tonight???????? But i have managed a syn free rice dish and mini toasts for breakfast which is good and i had an apple in the fridge so i should survive. Congratulations to everyone who has lost.

Hi, I am thinking of joining slimming world in the next week or so. How much will it cost?
I have been trying to cut down a lot lately, but wondered if anyone could advise on a good weeks worth of diet.

My mother did it, but was so confused, I did it years ago, but that was when it was red and green days. Some friends are doing it, but it does sound quite complicated.

    ATM
Breakfast - bran flakes ( weighed my bowl yesterday 2ozs) so today halfed that. SS milk
    (mid morning snack - banana)

Lunch (at work) made up salad with just a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, toms, cue, spring onion, lettuce, borlotti beans and brown rice, ham and a small amount of goats cheese

Supper - cooked chicken with veggies (last night chilli with no rice)
  • I have been at the classes but have stopped going due to money we are off our hols in 4 weeks and needed every penny for that, I am trying to do it myself and I think I am sticking to it but scared incase things have changed: I know Pasta n Sauce is no longer free how many syns are each of them? Is mugshots still free and is Batchelours super noodles low fat still free on a green and EE day?
Thanks for your help, your all doing well

  • Hi Frankie and welcome. It will cost £9.50 to join the group and £4.50 each week thereafter. It's really not hard to follow, and within a fortnight at most I bet you can quote chunks of the book off the top of your head :)

With you breakfast branflakes, I would have a chopped banana or other fresh fruit to help fill you till lunch-time.

Mid morning you could have a Mullerlight (or equivalent) and a piece of fruit.

Lunch - your salad sounds yummy!

Dinner - chicken and veg with a jacket potato (if you do the Extra Easy plan).

Do join a group and all will be explained. It really is a brilliant, healthy eating regime where you have never got any need to go hungry.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
