I have been at the classes but have stopped going due to money we are off our hols in 4 weeks and needed every penny for that, I am trying to do it myself and I think I am sticking to it but scared incase things have changed: I know Pasta n Sauce is no longer free how many syns are each of them? Is mugshots still free and is Batchelours super noodles low fat still free on a green and EE day?
Thanks for your help, your all doing well

Most Bachelor's Pasta n Sauces are free on the Green plan. The ones with syns are Macaroni Cheese (1 syn), Carbonara (½ syn), Cheese Leek and Ham (1 syn).

As far as I know the mugshots are free (never tried them) and if you can find the 98% fat free super noodles, they are free - don't get the wrong ones though as they high in syns.

Belfastgal - I would count the turkey as a HEB (you get 71 gms). You don't seem to have any HEAs in that list, don't forget to add them in. Have as much free food as you require to fill you up (no need for a small jp, have a big one if you want :))
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Aww thank you lovely people :-)
I have a question maybe someone could help, i want to make a stuffed quorn fillet. Was thinking thaw it out, cut a slice into it, mix together some fresh chopped parsley with 2 laughing cow extra light and some crushed garlic and stuff. Then i was going to make up some ainsley harriot tomato cous cous but make it a bit drier. Beat an egg, dip the stuffed fillet in the egg, then in the cous cous and then bake it in the oven. Can anyone tell me is this is misuse of food? ( the cous cous i mean ) or would it be allowed? thanks x olly

That's not misuse so enjoy! :D

Can't say the same for the picture of what looks to me like a Bakewell tart - disgraceful, I'm drooling :)

Mirry - just got to your spicy apple cake recipe and I reckon it should serve 8 for the syns quoted. The sugar is 11 syns, the flour 18, the jam 3 and of course, the apples are synned with being cooked.
    Hope that helps.

Thanks but i only stopped going about a month ago and my consultant said that past n sauce had changed and they were no longer free, if you look you'll see that packaging is different. Maybe they have been switched back. Do you know if it is the packet low fat super noodles that are 98% and free or is it the pots?
Weighed myself this morning so will do it every tues see how I go, once back from Hong Kong will go back to class I think, still got bout a stone to lose lost 2st so far. x

Your Consultant is correct. Some of the Pasta n Sauces are now synned, though by no means all of them. One of my favourites Cheese and Brocolloi has ½ syn now but used to be free. Still worth it in a quiche though IMO.

Don't know about the pot noodles, though I don't think they're free, just the packets.
