For lunches I also miss white bread, its hard at work to be good but I have been bringing my own lunch in and turning down the pub/takeaway option.
This week I have been having:
Tuna Sarnie - 3 slices Weight Watchers Malted Danish with Tuna (In spring water), Vinegar and Cucumber, with a muller light and some fruit.
Tin of Baxters healthy choice soup - (cant remember which one but its a healthy.
Mug Shot (Noodle one) with 3 slices of WW malted danish (to dip in!).
Packet of Ryvita Minis with a tub of vlf cottage cheese - scoop it up onto the ryvita.
Hope this helps a bit...You can stand there and agonize........

thanks might try the ryvita minis and cottage cheese - would be handy to remember if I'm out and need to buy lunch from supermarket etc - I normally get some chicken from the rotisserie and a prepack salad, or a pack of sushi, depending what day I'm on
has anyone else lost so much weight that their rings don't fit anymore? I'm slimmer now than I was when I got married and my rings are loose - they spin on my fingers. I still have around 3st to lose and I'm getting concerned incase they fall off and I lose them when I lose more weight. How can I keep them safe and still wear them or keep them with me?

Yeah, I'm like that. Lost 5st 1lb so far (still a bit to go yet) and my rings are spinning. I can fasten my watch nearly 2 holes in the strap tighter than before, my necklaces hang lower as there isn't as much neck to go around...
I get worried if I'm cold and my fingers shrivel, thery are very loose then. Nothing I own seems to fit properly. Stupid as it sounds, even my shoes fit differently as my feet and ankles are thinner.
Loads of people wear rings on necklaces. Maybe set a target to treat yourself to have your rings made smaller? They are easy enough to resize at a good jewellers. Or maybe get your other half to treat you to a new one? :rolleyes:0 -

my friend has just visited me , she has been doing slimming world for 2 years and has lost 4.5 stone. When I told her yesturday was a extra easy day for me and showed her my food diary , she said I am doing it wrong:eek:. Basically its left me confused. On my sheet I wrote for my evening meal I had ......

veg
she said I cant do that ? Then she said its difficult to explain but she will get the paperwork for me. I am sitting here feeling totally confused ,
I thought you could eat as much FREE food from green and original as you want ?
so as an exagerated menu plan , could I eat this on extra easy ? .......

From my experience of doing EE, your friend is right but wrong. Yes, you've got the basics, BUT the menu above does not include enough super-free food.
For example, you have lots of foods that are free on red or green, but none that are superfree.
For EE to work with this menu, you would need to add at least 1/3 of your plate at each meal with superfree fruit or veg. There is no fruit listed at all.
Consultant 31 pasted a list in red a few days back with the EE rules. I can't see that the above menu would have a bad effect on your weightloss, but by doing it right, you would have much better results.
I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone will let us know, but this is how I have understood it and followed it for the last 4 months or so and I'm still losing at a comfortable steady rate.

First post for me (I'm generally just a lurker) :hello:
I've searched all through but can't find this answer so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Does anybody know how many syns are in Tiger Tiger Cup Noodles, Thai Curry flavour?
I'm working 12 hours tomorrow so need an evening snack, this seems ideal but only the syns will decide that0
