Hey guys and girls... it's been a while.
I am coming back to slimming world. I would say with more determination than ever before, but really, no. I am coming back as I've put on all the weight I lost and have a diet worse than I could have ever imagined.
Slimming World this time is going to be incredibly hard, I essentially need to cook two different meals each night, one crammed with processed chicken, waffles and garlic bread, and another SW friendly, all with zero utensils and no space to prepare food. Planning will be essential I suppose.
So, coming back with my tail between my legs and in need of definite support this time around!!

Understand what you mean with 2 kids! But I've been doing the new plan and it works great. Have you tried making the fish and chips. Not to difficult if your work space is short. My kids love them with tomato sauce.

WI today, lost 3.5lb so managed to get my 1/2 stone award :A . I was also made SOTW _party_ which I don't really get - last week I lost the most and didn't get it, this week there were four or five who'd lost more than me (and were getting awards too) and I got it. But I now have more fruit than you can shake a very large stick at, as that's the prize, so no excuse for not losing next week - apart from it being my tenth wedding anniversary tomorrow so I'll be drinking several glasses of synfull fizz!

I'm off to eat some synfree strawberries and feel very virtuous :)

    Hi all

Just to let you know I rejoined and was pleased to have lost a few more lbs: I have now lost 1 stone and 1/2 lb!

Am now keeping track of food more closely this week:

    Yesterday:
Quorn sausages, beans & ketchup (2) & hea cheese (A)
    Quorn sausages & 98% supernoodles & hea cheese (A)
red kidney beans & supernoodles & heB cheese (B)

2 choc chip cereal bars (8) taste or pork crackling at work (6?) teensy taster of ice cream (2)
( I don't usually have so much cheese!)

Muller & tsp options hot choc (1)

19 syns! Now i know how much damage picking at work does! :o

Right ladies (and gents? not sure)

This thread is going very slowly at the moment. I have an idea! :o Perhaps we could all post a favourite recipe? Even if its something bog standard that you think everyone else will already do, they may not know your twist on it.

    Shall I start?

Sausage hotpot ( Green, or you can syn free morrisons sausages or do an EE day)

4 quorn sausages, browned & sliced on an angle
    Tin of beans
    Tin of butterbeans, drained
    chilli powder
    a dry fried onion
    carton of passatta
    Wourcestershire sauce
    Mixed herbs
Potatoes & carrots, diced and parboiled

Cook all above together until warmed through.
    :D

Here's my fave recipe - it's a healthy extra a and b on a green day or 2 b's on a green day. It's a cheese lasagne and I love it - I make it in a little dish and eat it all to myself!

    85g ricotta (healthy extra)
    tub of quark
    2 cloves of garlic
    Passata
    Lasagne sheets
    28g cheddar/parmesan (healthy extra)

Mix the ricotta with the quark and garlic. Put half the mixture in a small dish and cover with lasagne sheets. Pour over passata to cover the lasagne. Then put the rest of the cheese mixture, another layer of lasagne and then passata. Then sprinkle over the cheddar and cook at 180 for 30 mins.

I love this but have found that Tesco's quark makes it watery but Sainsburys and Asdas quark is fine lol!!!
Hope others like it! My OH always wants to try it but then resists at the last minute! Have no idea why. I don't mind though more for me!

SOTW is not just the greatest loss, but also factors in what happened the previous week.

The previous week you had to stay to class and either lose or maintain. You cannot get SOTW if it is your first weigh in.

So i am guessing that last week when you had the greatest loss, you couldn't win as it was your first week (?), and this week although others had lost more either they didn't weigh in last week, or last week they gained or it was their first week.

Anyhoo - enjoy the fruit and well done :T:D

First of all, well done on your loss and getting SOTW :T

To be eligible for SOTW you have to have:-

    a) lost the most weight this week
    b) stayed to group this week
    c) lost weight last week

Although there will often be people who have lost more than you have this week, they must not have fit the other criteria.

Sorry Angie, got called away from the 'puter and your reply wasn't there when I started.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
