Good moring everyone
It looks like good news this week as I have just weighed myself and appear to have lost 2 lbs so far. Writing everything down as I have eaten seems to work for me. I have visitors today; so I'm hoping I don't wobble of the straight and narrow. Here's hoping.

SpiritJoined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -
Well seeing as we are on a new thread with lots of names I've not seen before I thought I would just offer up my Sw sheet again.
I have created a spreadsheet for things slimming world related. it started off as an alternative to the food diary as I find the ones you get at group are too small and not enough room, but it has developed since I started it and now includes:- A menu page with links to jump to each "section"
- A treats sheet - a sheet to add your own choice of low syn/free alternatives to a choc/sweets etc
- 4 sheets for food diary (1 per week)
- a walking log - log time spent walking/steps taken (if you have a pedometer), distance walked, approx calories burned (you can work this out on https://www.walkjogrun.net)
- Links to things slimming world
- an example of how I use the food dairy sheets
- targets sheet - how many days left/ lbs to loose to targets you set yourselves
- syns - keep a note of syn values of stuff you look up/eat regularly
JHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

Hi folks
Would like to join you all in this please. Have been doing slimming world off and on since DS was born and now that he is approaching 5 I feel that I now have to take the bull by the horns and start it again. This time I am feeling full committed as I have just realised how many clothes I have in my wardrobe and under the bed which are in brand new condition and are too tight for me.
I normally vary red and green days but would be interested in doing the Extra Easy Plan as it seems a little more flexible for the family. Fortunately I have the booklet from my last group (which I left at the end of Jan) and have the mags. So I am going to get my head round it tonight.
I am not going to rejoin a group as I find it awkward for childcare and I work part time, so hoping the support on this thread will act as my 'image therapy'.
Will weigh in on a Thursday morning and will put £2 a week into a jar as my subscription to spend on treats when I reach 1/2 stone milestones.0 -

Not sure about other groups, but we have a few parents at my group that bring their children along and they are no trouble at all.

I did initially join a group but stopped going because of the children there, they caused havoc, they were so loud you could not hear what was being discussed at times. That is why I am doing body optimise at home !!!0

If you play by the rules, avoid them - if you want to have them occasionally, then go ahead, but any more than occasionally may well affect your weight loss.
sorry
How is it mis-using them as long as you dont eat them excessively?
Our consultant used to swear by these a few years ago!0 -

Hi Guys
I catch up on this thread every couple of days even though I hardly ever post..... There are some great ideas on here and you all help me to stay on the straight and narrow............. Thanks
About the misuse of food thing - I don't really get why but I know that it is
There are a couple of things like this and I don't even pretend to get it but there are people at slimming world that get paid a fortune to work out what we can and cant have, what syns everything is and what is misuse of food and I am happy to go by what they say!!
I don't see why you have to syn tinned pineapple (or HEB) even if its in natural juice but I do cos thats what I am told lolJoined slimming world 27/1/09
