How about adding a sachet of white chocolate options to Quark with some sweetener if required. Make up the jelly as normal, top with the quark mixture and decorate with the raspberries. Grate a little bit of chocolate over the top if you fancy it.janiebaby29 wrote: »looking to make a jelly dish with the raffle prize i won this morning
a tub of quark , sugar free jelly and raspberries ??
i think i can mix the quark with the jelly and add raspberries to it , or has anybody got any better ideas !!0 -
Mine were def 4 for a £1 as well. Might be worth taking it up with customer services if it's a mistake. Asda policy is to refund the difference and give you a gift voucher for £2 by way of an apology. Youcould use it for another 8 mugshots!According to My Supermarket . com it's 4 for £1.00 but when I got mine earlier in the week it was 4 for £1.500

Goulash Meatballs
Serves 4
Free on Original and Extra Easy,
4½ Syns on Green*
*(add 6 Syns if not using meat as a Healthy Extra choice on Green)
1 large red pepper, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
340g/12oz extra lean minced beef
340g/12oz extra lean pork mince, or lean turkey mince as an alternative.
1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons of paprika
284ml/½ pint stock made with chicken Bovril
1 large tin of chopped tomatoes
113g/4oz very low fat fromage frais
salt and pepper to taste
1. Finely chop half of the onion and half of the red pepper with one of the crushed cloves of garlic.
2. In a bowl mix the beef and pork mince together with the chopped vegetables, include one tablespoon of paprika and the beaten egg with a good pinch of salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into Brussels sprout-size meatballs.
3. Bring half of the Bovril stock to the boil in a large frying pan, then add the meatballs a few at a time and cook until they have coloured and firmed up a little. Leave the part- cooked meatballs to one side.
4. In a large ovenproof lidded casserole dish or saucepan bring the remainder of the stock to the boil. Add the other half of the finely chopped onion and crushed clove of garlic, cook for 5 minutes. Add the remainder of the finely chopped red pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Add the 2 tablespoons of paprika and the chopped tomatoes, stir and add seasoning if you think necessary. Simmer for a further 5 minutes then add the meatballs to the sauce. Cover with lid and place in the centre of the oven at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for approximately 50 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and just before serving stir in the fromage frais.
Tip: You can add any other Free ingredients to the basic meatball recipe, such as finely chopped mushrooms, spring onions or courgettes.
This dish freezes well, but leave out the fromage frais if you do this and add once re-heated.0 -
Still need to be buying quicker to prepare food as I'm just not getting the time to prepare even a bit of pasta half the time. (although asda quick cook pasta rings a bell now I say that: are there any other supermarkets who do quick cook pasta?)
What I do is make a big pan of pasta in my biggest saucepan on the weekend/when I have a spare 10mins.
Then keep it in fridge if I'm going to be eating in next few days, or freeze in meal-size amounts (in freezer bags or chinese takeaway tubs). Then I get them out the freezer night before and bung into a salad or ads sauce to, when I need it.
I'm terrible for eating something out of fridge whenever it opens, so I can grab a few bits of pasta for free on green.

Are you close to target Mina? It goes sooo slowly when you get near.0
-
-
sw-mina - I am not dissimilar ... I called target (and am staying there happily) but am aware that at some point I will decide to kick the last half stone or so and finish the job properly.
Don't forget - if it feels OK, you are allowed to call target, get used to being there (and staying there) for a while, before heading downwards again.
PS for the tummy, I took up hoola hooping :rotfl: huge fun!0 -
Thanks Janiebaby
Naturally, what are these morrisons free sausages you refer to? Are they really free sausages?
Ummmm.... Haven't bought them in a whilehang on a sec while I get the exact name of them...
ETS here you go,
Eat Smart Diet, Pork Sausages, Less Than 3% Fat, 8 pack, chilled, 57g each free
Must be worded exactly as above, they do some similar ones and frozen that are syns.
*NB can someone else who buys the above sausages confirm please? Above was shamelessly copied from another forum I found through google just now, sounds right but I don't want to give misleading info! Thanks!*
You could also try googling Joes sausages, who do a range of sausages and burgers that are free on Slimming World, but you need to bulk order.0
