Im off out for the day with family, my cousin is doing lunch and I have no idea whats on the menu. Ive had my breakfast and will take an apple and a muller to eat on the way. Fingers crossed I can stick to it! I WILL stick to it!

I spent the whole journey praying for salad lol! There was no salad!!!! The closest was a pasta salad, but it was shop bought  I had some of that, 2 potato wedges, 2 breaded mushrooms, 3 half loaded potatoes.....I shall write today off I think, will try and do success express tomorrow and also do some miles on my bike.

    Its just 1 day....its just 1 day....its just 1 day :o

I had a nightmare yesterday, I did really well in the morning and the afternoon, I was working overtime and brought all my food in with me

But then on the way home (even though we had all the food in and ready to make a sunday dinner) we went via KFC *hangs head in shame*

It was lush and I am back on the plan now but man why do I keep doing this to myself!

I apologise for quoting myself but I posted a longer version of this yesterday and didn't get any response, I just thought a few more people may be around today and have a point of view.

.......... how have others decided on their target? Even when I get to 'the magic number' that I have in my head, I'll still only just be in the 'healthy weight' range on the charts. How do you know when you are the right weight for you, IYSWIM?
I stood in for the WI lady a couple of weeks back and it was a real eye opener. Some people weighed a lot more than I would've thought and others a lot less, which just goes to prove we're all unique.............................how do you know when enough is enoughfor you?............sorry I'm rambling now. Any comments?

I've had a good week on SW this week - although other aspects of life have been a bit rubbish (death in the family). Tough day on Friday, but managed to convince myself that stuffing my face with 4 bars of chocoalte wasn't going to make any difference to the situation (in fact would make me feel worse).

    Weigh in not till Wednesday . . . so here's hoping . . . . .

Well done to all those who've lost or STS.

Oh Poor you, It's dreadful when this type of thing happens but helps you put things into perspective, suddenly weight problems don't seem so important anymore( although well done on resisting the chocolate). Look after yourself. Thinking of you.

Some people set a target straight away, some people just do it and see how they feel at a particular size. I knew I had to get to 9st, whatever size that meant, as thats where I was happy last time. I set it as an interim target in my book so that I could see how it felt, and would decide if I wanted to go lower. As it is my target ended up being 8st 13lb as thats what I was on the day of the weigh in, and Im size 10 - 12, depending on where I shop. Im happy where I am for now, I might lose another few pounds and try and stay right at the bottom of my target, but for me I dont need to go any lower. I think you do know when its time to call target, you will feel right, iykwim?

Dunno if that helps lol

I hear what you're saying but maybe some people won't know when to stop. I could have called time at 3.5stone loss because I felt so much healthier than when I started but I've kept going because it wasn't a 'healthy' weight, and I'm glad I did because I feel even better now, so how do you know when it's enough. The charts give such a wide range. I'm probably fussing about nothing but I'd be interested to hear consultant31s point of view.
