Evenin' all!
I kinda slipped up but buying a pre-packed sandwich for breakfast and having a HM one for lunch too - just because I really, really didn't feel like cooking anything in advance yesterday, too tired. I have worked today 7am til 10.30 (mucking out horses), then 11.30am til 4.45pm (bar work so on feet) then 5.30-6.10pm doing the horses again. Now SURELY thats a good few calories burnt?!
Having on-plan pasta bake tonight, yummy! With enough leftovers for tomorrow's lunch and brekkie is at home so back on track tomorrow.
Feet are killing me with all this standing up: can anyone recommend a good pair of shoes, must be smart, that I can work in????0 -

Clarkes shoes are always good, I have some of their ballet shoe type that I wear with trouser socks, fancy socks. They are pretty comfy, deffo worth a look there.0 -

As others have said many times, there is only one way to lose weight and keep it off (the hard part IMO) and that is to take in fewer calories than you expend. It's easier with SW because all the 'working out' is done for you, all you have to do is follow a few basic rules - no calorie counting, fat counting or anything else and all without a leaky anus  (this is what can happen with orlistat).
There is, honestly, no such thing as a quick fix. If there was, ask yourself why there are still so many overweight people? Personally I will stick with SW - it may not be super-quick, but it is healthy and it really does work.
Well said consultant!! I tried them & in a way I'm glad I did as I now know how horrible they are and that SW is deffo they way to go!!0 -
Last post for now...honest!!
Think iv been pretty good all day, had a yummy lunch at my dads, gammon, peas, pots & cauliflower cheese, profiteroles for pudding & i had 1!! & i didnt touch the garlic bread, impressed with myself!
Had fish, sweet potato chips & mushy peas for dinner, took off all the batter!! Tried a lil bit & didnt even like it....or maybe that was wishful thinking!! Its all in the bin now tho!
Really want to lose a pound this week, i will find the lightest clothes i have to wear to WI tomorrow!!0 -
Thanks Princess kate. Might go to the discount store at cheshire oaks tomorrow morning: full price clarks aren't very MSE are they! Still, I'd pay a fortune if it meant comfy feet.0

I need some advice. I love chocolate and am missing it. My diet is going really well. I dont eat a lot of chocolate but do like it.
What chocolate is the best syn wise, I always do EE but dont suppose that matter. I like milk chocolate preferable cadburys...
Also anyone know how many syns in a cadburys easter egg, the small choclate button type...
Thanks
Hi,
I joined slimming world last april and lost a stone and a half to meet target. I've started to put a few back on so i'm back on the diet.
I find the thing I miss most is chocolate, but find it easier not to have any whatsoever. If I have one snack size bar, i'll want 5. What I like to do is an options hot choc drink put into a 0% total greek yoghurt. The belgian choc and mint choc are the best and it makes it kind of like a chocolate mousse. Think they are 2 syns each. I've tried with the hightlights, but found they are a bit too powdery when mixed in. The options seems to disappear when mixed in the yoghurt. Give it a go!
What i've had today (green day as i'm a veggie)
Breakfast - 1 slice of wholemeal bread from 800g loaf 1HEB, Tin of baked beans and 2 quorn sausages, measured amount of cheese on top of beans (HEA)
Lunch - Tomato and Basil mugshot - free
snack - new asda fat free yoghurt raspberry and cranberry flavour. free
Dinner - pasta and quorn chicken style pieces, in tomato sauce made with passata (free i think?), tomato puree (3 syns), onion, garlic, fresh chillies
Snack - 0% total greek yoghurt with mint madness options hot choc mixed through. 2 syns.
I always find it difficult to use up all my healthy a choices as don't drink a lot of tea or coffee.
Hope to have lost a couple by wed at my weigh in.0 -
Hi, I just wanted to say thanks to Angie and Cleos mum for your ideas on what I could eat while we were camping. We have just got back this evening from a fab weekend, and I ate loads but stayed on track! Your suggestions were fab and things I would not have thought off, dinner on friday was chicken balti wrap without the wrap with extra salad and was yummmm, and I found it really easy to find other meals too! I have loads of ideas for our next trip away from your suggestions.
A quick sneak peak on the scales and i think I might have actually lost! :j
Thanks very much
