    Hi everyone

    Can I join please?

I have been a slimming world member since July 2008 and I have lost 18 pounds so far, I had been yo-yoing before Christmas till a few weeks ago

But I am determined to get the rest off, my brother gets married in Cyprus in July and I really want to be at target or close to it for then!!

I am aiming to lose 3 stone and then see how I feel (losing 3 stone would take me to 9 Stone 8.5 pounds and I am 5 foot 7) I am not sure I want to go that low, but I will see

I have lost 18 pounds so far so 24 pounds to go, which I doubt I can do before hols lol, I onyl have 10 more weigh ins till I go and I dont think I can do 2.4 pounds a week lol

When I was in Tesco this morning the 6-Packs are 2 for £5 - Im not sure thats the best deal but its one I have found at the moment.

Can I join, I did start before but im new to forums and got a bit lost

Im trying to lose 2 stone before my brothers wedding in July - I need to lose another 7 stone overall, I have already lost 3 but im losing motivation so thought this might help. Fingers crossed you all seem to really support each other.

    Thanks all 3!

I need to stock up and have all the supermarkets nearby but didn't want to traipse round them all looking for them as I would have been tempted by other non-SW stuff!

.......................................Borte a drinks despencer from thr pound shop and everyday i'm gonna drink it , i put orange sqaush in mine , so everytime i go to put the kettle on i get or drinka glass of sqaush too .

This sounds like a really good idea, I've found if I really make a conscous effort to up my water intake I always have a better weightloss. My loss is a little bit stuck at the moment, (up1, down 1, STS, down 1 etc.etc.) The overall pattern is still down but it's painfully slow. I'm going to try and train myself to have a glass of drink each time I go into the kitchen, hopefully it'll just be a case of getting into the habit! and I'm very good at forming habits ( although they are not usually good ones!)

Hi lo_bush , i think the nice weather helps when upping your water intake , i find it so more easy as in the winter we think were hungry , when were not just boared or just need a drink .
MY friend was finding it hard to lose weight and found it hard like me when she eat mainly pasta or rice or potatoes , her body got slugish :confused:and she felt bloated , so i got her to join me in a week of doing maily white meats , fish , hitting her water intake and upping her green veg and plenty of fruit , last week she had stir frys , theres all differet ones of these and she like me added woster sauce , fresh herbs .
She still had her two b's & two a if she wanted it , and her treats , but lots of stir frys and salad , we would have our roast on sunday .
And this week she got weighed and lost 4lb , so just going out of your weigh to change what you eat dose work :T.
  • does anyone know if mugshots have a syn value? i think i heard they are free??

    thanks in advance
