mazzers the gluten just came, i didn't realise what it was at first and was about to google "what does anthrax look like" when i remembered :rotfl:
Oops, didnt think to put a note in with it :rotfl:
It reminds me of cement, very fine powder, very messy.
I lose weight initially, but stay the same after i've lost about one and a half stone, i do get smaller tho strangely.
We've discussed this on the thread ages ago, my dress size went down but my weight was stagnant, someone said (IPD diet i think)the fat cells fill with water and dont shrink down for about six months..*shrugs* i dunno, i'm only repeating someone elses theory.
PP, i think i should move in with you.. yummy
Debtmonkey, frozen rasps with lidl yogurt and chopped nuts is one of my fave lc desserts. Those buckets last ages
Sweet, the asparagus soup was fab, can def recommend.
Btw.. where has mercy disappeared to i wonder?0 -
I had no idea the lidl greek yogurt was so LC! For some reason I thought it was quite high in carbs, I'll have to investigate as being able to eat yogurt would be brilliant. My flatmate makes "frozen yogurt" like ice-cream by mixing a little fruit and arrowroot into yogurt and freezing it.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0

Hi! Yup...2.8 carbs/100gm as its full fat. Why not crush some frozen cheap berries into it...some splenda.....put in a bowl in fridge...whisk every 40 mins or so....job done!
I LOVE full fat greek yoghurt...!0 -
HI Peeps
only just managed to get on and catch up in a fashion, i`ve been too busy trying to get things done and pressies wrapped whilst no one is here but the phone keeps ringing and other bits and bobs that are waylaying me.
DH finishes w*rk early on Saturdays so i`ve had to stuff everything in boxes and hope that he doesn`t look too closely at things that are stuffed away
Not a lot to report really other than that i`ve not had time for anything to eat yet today:eek: Think i`ll have an early tea, spag bol for me but i`ve run out of courgettes so will have it with some cauliflower cheese i think - i`m looking forward to that.pink_princess wrote: »

Hi all, as you can see I am quite new to the forums. I have been lurking and reading your posts. I eat low carb to try and control my diabetes and have been doing ok.....................that is until I got the idea..........oh its Christmas so I think I'll buy some crisps, not just a couple of packs but a multi pack of 24packs !!!!!!!!! I have fallen right off the wagon
( I just can't leave them alone (crisps have always been my downfall)
If there is something good to come out of this purchase its that I have removed the various crisp type snacks I had ordered in my online Christmas shop for delivery next week, and they aint going back !!
Phew just needed to get that off my chest. At least these days I can learn from my mistakes and not throw in the towel BIG TIME like I used to.0 -
Thank you for the lidl yogurt tip, I just got some and it's delicious. Really thick and creamy. I always bought the 500ml tubs in the past which are low fat but high carb, only the 1kg tub is lc friendly.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0
