I keep meaning to try the oopsies, do you think they are worth the effort? Whenever I feel I neeeed bread which admittedly has not been often since I started LCing, I have made the flax bread.
Sometimes when I get a real desire for something like a cream egg I sit for five minutes and imagine eating the whole thing and recall all the sensations of melting chocolate and licking out the cream, the whole kit-n-caboodle - don't know why but it seems to calm the craving.
Changed days for me :rotfl:I could have eaten a pack of six at one time.Haters are gonna hate - you're not obliged to participate0 -

Yes I think so. It's not much effort, and they only need half an hour on a low heat. They're nothing like bread, but if you're desperate for something 'sandwich-like' for example, it'd do at a pinch..

I want to make some MiMs but the recipe I looked at uses Flaxmeal. I've got a box of Golden Linseed in the cupboard, but apparently they need to be ground to 'release the goodness'. Not sure I want to buy a coffee grinder just for that.. If I do sort out that little problem, I'll have to try the Flax bread too.pondskater wrote: »Sometimes when I get a real desire for something like a cream egg I sit for five minutes and imagine eating the whole thing and recall all the sensations of melting chocolate and licking out the cream, the whole kit-n-caboodle - don't know why but it seems to calm the craving.

Wow, that's impressive! :T0 -
Hello everyone
I'm now on day fourteen and have lost 12lbs so I am well chuffed. I'm now under 11st.
Just keep with it is my advice. Even when I couldn't face another mushroom I left them for a day or so and now I can eat them again - same with eggs lol.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
I'm still around - away a lot just now but managing to keep more or less up with the LC thing. Found that the protein powder is a life-saver as I can take some in a lock and lock tumbler and just add water when I need it. Sometimes add berries but not very often as they don't travel very well. Think it was Eric Pisch who recommended the website for the powder, so many thanks again!
Still losing weight too. Whilst others are commenting more and more I 'felt' it too the other night when reaching for a skin blemish I have on my waist, previously I could barely reach it but now it's in easy reach! :j
As a reward have booked a short break to Dubai - a bit mega but as I've had a rubbish year I don't have any qualms. Now on a strict strict strict run to lose as much as possible and healthy in the next 4 weeks.
Off to have some decaf coffee and cream!
Hope all those not posting are doing OK - or perhaps they have moved on?0 -
Hi Gers,
Glad things are going well, and good for you booking a nice break. You deserve it! :T
I've just had my decaf. coffee and cream. I had half a big Kabanossi sausage for brekkie today, but it wasn't quite right for the start of the day <burp> :P
I've been in Ketosis almost constantly for the last 10 days or so. I noticed that a tiny slice of potato and a few peas and carrots 'knocked me out' of it the other day. Similarly, a few roasted almonds had the same affect last night. Body used up the carbs. and I was back in ketosis the following morning, both times. It's a nice way of seeing (or imagining..? ) that it's working....
Found some 0% carb. cheese in Mr T's last week. That's my 'nibble food' when I really need/fancy a little snack.
Anyway, I'm still here. Lurking mostly, but doing okay.. I think.. I had ZERO energy by about day 3 last time I tried Atkins, and couldn't continue, but I think the vitamins and 2L of water daily is holding that off this time...
Take care0 -

My blog has some websites I found along the way, but I've just started reading the Atkins book, I suddenly realised I was unprepaired to start introduced some carbs! LOL

hannoja...what's the 0% cheese like? Stupid question, but does it taste proper cheesy?
I hate cheese that tastes about as exciting as the packaging it comes in, but would be interested if this 0% cheese was tasty...
