Just found this article on BBC website:

As for carb content, I use a Collins Gem book which list everything, though there are various websites which do the same.

ALL my plans for today went skyward! Just as well that I checked cos I had to completely modify a large presentation I'm giving - it was all wrong. So have spent about 3 hours doing that. And had a long sleep, went back to bed to listen to the radio and woke up a couple of hours later. I tend to wake very early and yet not get to bed before 10 o'clock so perhaps I was just catching up.

Have had some cauliflower cheese and then a bowl of strawberries and cream. Enough now!!

Today has been good after a little blip last night!

Had a protein shake for breakfast, managed to avoid eating lunch as I was working (training) and the food was sandwiches and chips so I didn't have anything. Ate a couple of small pepperamis in the car on the way home and then dropped into M&S for some chicken.

Am drinking loads which is helping with the bad breath and bowels :j

Hope everyone else is doing well too.

    Hi all

I've been pointed in this direction from my migraines thread- after I was put on a new diet by my doctor, in attempt to figure out if my migraines are caused by a food allergy.

I am suffering intensely without my usual cereal for breakfast, without tea, without sugar, without everything I love!

How long does it take before your body adjusts to the severe lack of "yummies"?

I'm on the "Stone Age Diet" which means I can eat some carbs, but only in the evening. Everything seems very back to front and I'm missing bread, toast and everything sorely right now!
    MFW 2010- £112,500 + 20% Equity Loan = £150,000 35 years :o
    2013- £108,877.28 + 20% / current OP = 19 years :T

Target to be Shared Equity Free- 2016
Target for holiday to Australia- 2014
Currently training for a Commando Challenge- drop and give me 20

2-3 weeks to adjust and loose the physiological dependency

i dont see why hunter gathers would only eat carbs at night?

I am allowed to eat carbs, but only in small portions, in the evening. Apparently carbs slow your system down and make you sleepy, which is why you shouldn't eat them in the morning.

This was what the doctor gave me: and yes it is from doctor wikipedia...

I'm starting my 4th week, for me my head still tells me I want cake, biscuits and to a lesser extent bread but to be honest, I've not been tempted to stray once. I've sat in a meeting looking at a plate of cookies, I've watched my friends eat chips and sat watching TV with mum the other nice and watched her polish off a couple of biscuits. So its more in my head then my heart I think.

I was in london yesterday and still took a packed lunch in! I knew the meeting would provide lunch but all sandwiches. So I baked a cheese and bacon frittata which was admired by my colleagues!
