    hello all,

I havent seen that program on sugar that you are all on about above, but read somewhere that consumption of sugar by average european rocketed from 3kg a year to 87kg a year during the course of last century!
Also read somewhere that rats won't eat sugar!?
Could this be right I wonder, if so, there is food for tought here, and we, stupid humans, have been stuffing ourselves with that stuff...

  • Stoopid quotes are not working for me!!

    Morning :hello:

Can someone take my self-destruct button off me, please?! :o

No, I'm not back on track today :(Can't seem to get my head together.
I'm a bit shocked really, because I've been so good at jumping straight back on the wagon when I've had 'time off' so now I'm wondering why I can't do it this time!!
Hormones are playing silly beggars though, I seem to be in a permanent state of pmt, motm & totm :( so that's definitely playing a part in my current state of mind!!

Anyway, enough wallowing [STRIKE]like a hippo[/STRIKE] in self-pity :o I'm at the hairdressers today, so hopefully that will give me a boost. Dreading the 'sitting infront of the mirror staring at my carby face bit' though. Why do I always follow a positive with a negative?!

crafty, hope you had a fab birthday yesterday & well done on getting straight back onto low-carb!! :j

    See you all later

    morning all!!!!

was too knackered to go shopping last night so have only bought a few bits and bobs
last night I either threw out or ate things with carbs - crisps and pizza obviously got eaten :D potatoes got binned and pasta stuff got banished to the back of the cupboard!

for breakfast I have had 2 baby bells and a pepparami and will probably have another pepparami in a bit when the mid-morning munchies set in! for lunch I will probably grab some chicken from somewhere as I need to go out at lunch.
tea is going to be the leftover curry I had the other night with some riced cauli (must remember to buy cauli!!)

was going to buy a BNS this morning but after seeing the size of it I will get it on my way home!!!!!!

Sweet. Have you got anything to aim for, a wedding in the summer or a reunion, something like that, that might make you shove yourself back on the wagon? I know what it's like. Been there, got the weight gain. It's a viscious circle as we all know. Eat some carbs, hate yourself, eat some more carbs for comfort, hate yourself more. Guess we just have to stop being so hateful of ourselves.

Meanwhile my weight loss is proceeding like an asthmatic snail. One half pound off this morning, but inevitably a pound on tomorrow, then a half pound off, then maybe overall a half pound loss by Monday. Bad body. Did a tough yoga class yesterday which hopefully will have kickstarted the loss a bit more. I was all layuered up cos the room's usually cold, but this time there was a shaft of sunlight centred right on me. After five mintuies I was warm; 15 minutes in and every time I did an inversion sweat dripped off my head and on to the mat. I was pretty.

Anyway. Sausage and leek gratin for breakfast (leftovers). Stilton and walnut salad for lunch. Some sort of cack for dinner (not feeling inspired, hoping DH will make).

Hi everyone - I haven't been around lately because mix-up with my medication left me feeling like cr*p.. I hope I haven't missed much because I haven't been able to catch up yet. Today's menu: Yoghurt, bacon and eggs, brocolli and cauli with cheese, salad for snacks.
