Whats happened? we were all doing so well

I've been very good today :A luckily i got back into it ok.

Didnt have my salad, had soup and crispbreads, and didnt get to have the pork steaks as i got a few bargains again this week, while everyone in tesco was waylaid by the reduced pizzas and quiches, they missed the single, big fat sirloin reduced to 90p from £4.50 so i had it, yum, fried with some mushrooms, poured thick cream over it when cooked and added crushed peppercorns, served on a bed of spinach, with a whole pkt of ready prepared broccoli reduced to 20p :)

Also got a small fillet steak reduced to 59p from £2.89 icon14.gif
Cant believe everyone missed the steaks.

Pepperamis 5 pack are half price atm in tesco too :)

Well today's penance is a dose of the runs and a pound on. Could have been worse I suppose. I knew early on that yesterday's routine was blown as I just sat about for 5 hours whilst the electrician did his thing all over the house. By the time he left, I was starving and I'd gone past the point of sensible eating by then so I had some peanuts and crispbread and cheese just because they were quick to get.

At dinnertime I had steak and turnip chips but the steak was tiny and the turnip chips were few so I ended up starving again. I sat in a mood all evening until the thoughts of biscuits and the like were too much to take any longer and I finally caved in. Didn't even help all that much as all the excess salt made me feel cotton woolly and the carbs made me feel sick and bloated.

I'm going back to my usual routine today and hopefully that will help the hormone thing too.

Glad you're back on form mazzers and daisy...make sure you drink loads of water, it does help the headaches.

Know what has happened to me. Got the start of a cold and had a really sh*** week at work. Working with way over what I am supposed to, doing lots to help get new projects going, still getting hassle from boss from doing things in wrong priority order and getting hassle from colleagues for not doing things quickly enough. Can really understand why people come out with the line "that's not my job". Have never worked harder and have never got so much hassle for not keeping work up to date.

Sorry for moaning but feet better getting that out in the open.

Just about to get my boiled eggs for breakfast, LC version of broth soup for lunch and maybe chicken leg for dinner with cauliflower cheese and turnip. Scales are still not moving but haven't been to gym this week as don't feel up to it. Need to go again at weekend.

I tear my hair out about kids' food. I have searched high and low for children's yoghurts without sugar in (not sweeteners either). You can make gorgeous yogs with fruit puree, so why stuff the white stuff in (and I'm looking at you, organic-poncey-nonsense yoghurt, with your unecessary oragnic cane sugar - it's still sugar!). The only one was Rachel's little yogurts, which were sweetened with puree, but you can't get them often any more. Every single other kids' yog is stuffed with it. So my boy (five) gets greek yog with berries and honey. I know that's a sugar too but at least it's not refined pap. He also gets wholemeal bread and has no idea there's any other kind (ha ha! evil laugh) and it has never occured to him to not eat his crusts. I rarely buy him sweets as I find that he gets given plenty by well-meaning childminders and other childrens' mothers on playdates. He hates fizzy drinks so no probs there; we don't have any kind of squash at home, just fresh orange or pineapple. Which I dilute 50/50 still. Do I sound harsh? Not at all. I am a big baker, so he often gets cakes and biccies, but I know what has gone into them, and they're fresh. Makes a big difference.
    Hi Sarah999
I think that it is a great way to be and feed your child.well done.
easy yo is a simle way to make your own yogurt and put want you want into it..I am sure there must be a way to make it using a flask or something I bet the good ole internet will have a method....

Can you remember what is was called? We have some sort of Sky Plus system which enables one (ooh eeerr, gone all posh now!) to search for a programme to see if it will be repeated, but one ('ere we go again!) needs to know the programme title. Thanks.

AH, tis hard when you're under the weather, all you wanna do is curl up with comfort food.
Is so nice when you've got something previously prepared, if only we were all as organised as mercy, so much easier to stick to.
