..............especially because you've found out where to buy those pork crunch things!! :j I've got it into my head that they're going to be a bit like Fiery Hot monster munch :o

I didn't fancy them till you said that! I might want them now, just in case.:rotfl:

    Well done fruity! :T

Well I'm having a crap day so far today. OH switched the bedroom rad on full last night and forgot about it, so I woke up feeling really sluggish with a splitting headache. I'm only eating my breakfast now and it's noon.

I also have a headache because I'm trying to buy things I don't know an awful lot about and my 'pain in the backside fussy nature' means I have to buy the best I can..... which means loads of research and asking stupid questions! Why oh why can't I be a 'that'll do' type of person!

I suspect this wil be a non-productive day.

    Oh well. :D

    Have a good one!

  • What's the matter with me today?? I'm soooooo hungry!! :(
I've eaten more than usual (my B/L was in stages btw, I didn't scoff everything all in one go!!) but I can't seem to fill up!!

Doesn't help that DD2 is having a sleepover so there's hunners of sweets (including Haribo milk bottles!!), doritos, chocolate, marshmallows ...

    Tis like torture!! :rotfl:

Hi all, didnt get back til 5pm, read the posts but was too tired to comment, i had to have a sleep first.. think i should be put out to graze now, two nights in a row has done me in :o

I'm afraid i caved last night, after all the booze we ended up in BK, so i will say no more (dont want everyone dribbling) back to lc today though, so just one lille blip.

    Well done to fruitycar :T
    Hi to daisy :)

I am a sweetie expert, and remember all of them and more, love em all, alias you meant the milky chew, and funnily enough we were on about them today as we went into a lovely sweet shop but i didnt give in to my desires today.

BTW, black jacks and fruit salad were one old penny for four, way back then.

Breakfast was two scrambled eggs, lunch was a beef stir fry, and i've just had pork steaks with creamy spinach

Yum yum, blackjacks were (one of my many) favourites, even the smell of them could make my mouth water!!

Right, I'm off to watch an episode of Rebus (Ken Stott) so will see you all tomorrow.

Just have to wander into the kitchen first ...

Hey, i'm not that old :rotfl:

But come from an era when ha'pennies, half crowns (2s.6d) and florins (2shillings) were in circulation, also remember the ten bob notes, and a common price was one pound nineteen and eleven pence ha'penny :rotfl:

Hmm, maybe i am that old :D
