Hi
just something I thought would be interesting and maybe usefull.
A friend of mine who I just spent a few days with has been very ill lately with M E type problems and told she wouldnt work again (she is only 38) She is a staff nurse.
After a lot of research she found out she had Candida which can come up as alsorts of illnessness... Its an over growth of yeast ..as we know yeast feeds and needs sugar....
Hence the cravings.....
Now this is the interesting bit You can get REALLY REALLY bad cravings for sugar (carbs) as the yeast in dieing off.....
She did low carb and health is so much better back at work now.....
Have a good weekend ....0 -

Which i what i said a few pages back
Read it in the Bernstein book, and it advises acidophilus to keep yeast at bay, i mentioned it coz i said this time around i haven't had any sugar cravings.. but, after two days lcing, when it was prob dying off, i was crazeee for chocs and biscuits, and in fact, indulged in a pile of choc digestives in work, ( i started off just sniffing them) but soon gave in as they were constantly on my mind.
Once i started again and got through those cravings i was fine.
No sweet cravings at all now and i'm putting it down to the acidophilus0 -

OOOH! Like the thought of those! Bet they're yummy!
I drink half water, half soda with a splash of PLJ cordial. Tis only a splash so less than 1g carb in a pint. Makes water so much better. If cold I'll have it with all slightly warm water. Do still have coffee but drink it black no sugar.
