What can I have for breakfast that doesn't involve eggs? I need inspiration. :(

    I know, i sympathise.

Thats why its sometimes easier to have a lc shake and an early lunch.

Make some of those waffle pancake things (eggs tho) had one with agave syrup myself.
Tesco sell agave syrup, not strictly lc but it doesnt raise bg apparently.

See that's sounds good but it involves me cooking and following a recipe etc I'm rubbish at it and I don't have the patience, I'd rather put plasterboard up all day. :rotfl:

Might go see what I'd have to do........

Piggies in blankets?? aka sausage & streaky bacon rolls

I know you said no eggs BUT have you tried making a fancy omelette?? I got sick of cheese omelette or cheese & mushroom omelette every day & decided to add some chopped red or yellow pepper & some ham to the mix & it made a big difference, really different & yummy, honest!! :o

    Pork escalopes/steaks??

Lol sweet I've had every kind of omelette imaginable. I don't like scrambled eggs, not fond of poached, fried are ok (better with chips though :D) and so omelette is usually 'it'. I've chucked all sorts into it over the last 2 weeks.

Anyway, just back from Morrisons......can I find packet chicken gravy stuff? Nope! Can someone take pity on me and link to it please so I can see what I'm looking for?

I'd bought stuff for the curry recipes above and then came home to find I'd left loads of bits out. :(

I'm not having the best of days here you know. :rotfl:

Linni - do you have a recipe for the creamy peppercorn sauce please?!?! not low carbing just yet but am dribbling at the thought of steak, brocolli, cauli and beans with that sauce all over it!!!

also dont know if it has been mentioned but for those missing things with a crunchy coating try brushing the meat with egg and then roll (or sprinkle) in bashed up scratchings (pork crunch probably best)

scratchings are ace - low carbers crisps!!!! I think each bag of pork crunch (the one with the air bubbles!) has 0.1g carb and Im guessing that the proper scratchings have none!!!

You can have anything you like really (or can stomach at that time of day), breakfast is only another meal, I used to eat a bit of what the kids were having in sandwiches sometimes - tuna mayonnaise with chunks of cheese in, chilli chicken mayonnaise, ham and cream cheese roll-ups, left overs from the night before's dinner, or instant bread with butter and cream cheese/peanut butter. Full fat greek yoghurt and some low-carb fruit. Even if you just had a chunk of cheese and a handful of nuts, it'd probably tide you over til lunch.
    Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
    And now the final frame
    Love is a losing game
