I've just been to Lidl's (Canterbury) and the Greek yoghurts are down to £1.45. I don't know if this is in all stores but it might be worth looking if you eat as many as I do..

Yum. made some of that chocolate that Dr DD suggested and its lush, chopped and roasted the hazelnuts and added sweetener and what a difference it made :)
Have a bagful in the fridge for emergencies.

    Ooh, chocolate brazils..
  • Hey guys, Hope you all had a great valentines :D

    Today I had:

    Breakfast
2 Boiled eggs and a protein shake

    Lunch:
chicken sandwich using lots of spinach and burgen soya bread (which is lower carb than normal bread AFAIK)

    Dinner:
    Chicken and broccoli bake

Doing it like this is working out a lot better - I feel like I have more energy and I'm not killing myself by restricting my diet to really low carb counts. Been keeping the carbs (mostly) restricted to the early morning and lunchtime.
  • Morning all :hello:

mazzers, yippee on the 8lbs off!! I knew you could do it!! :j:rotfl:
That pud does look yum!! *slobber*

My meal out was deeeelicious last night, had pork fillet & chips  Went to the moors pub, tis pretty high up on the moors & the higher we got, the foggier & frostier it got, by the time we got there there was thick snow & ice!! Only stayed for the meal as we were worried about the drive back & twas hair-raising to say the least, thick fog, ice, snow, pitch black!!

Looks like everyone [STRIKE]else[/STRIKE] is doing great, see you all later

Morning all, been up since 8.30 but still contemplating breakfast
    Hmmm.
Toughest meal of the day for me.

Sweet, like the sound of that pub, dont fancy the drive home tho.
  • Usual scrambled egg and grilled bacon for me this morning, will probably have a green smoothie for lunch and no idea for dinner yet.
DD wants to make pancakes today, any low carb recipes out there (she asks hopefully)
  • lots of low carb recipes out there! I think I might just have one small normal pancake, I think that should be about 8g.

What can I have for breakfast that doesn't involve eggs? I need inspiration. :(
