Jeez those crispbreads are dry, no wonder sazbo named them compressed hamster bedding :rotfl:
Nice and crunchy though and quite filling as they take so much chewing.

Another good day, had the rest of the bol over fine beans, nice, but not as nice as courgette.

Get well soon mercy and gers x

Feel sorry for the peep sitting next to Gers on the plane to Oz for god knows how many hours if she's still snotty by then!! :rotfl:

    Morning all :hello:

Kids start their school hols today, & I'm debating whether to have a week off lcing?? Will be going out for a meal on Monday for DD2's birthday (aargh, she's gonna be a terrible teenager!!) & we were even considering a trip to Cadbury World at some point next week as well!! I like to make things difficult for myself!! :rotfl:

I'm starving this morning (shouldn't be after the amount of S&V peanuts I had last night + crispbreads + wine ) but don't really fancy egg this or egg that for brekkie?? So, I won't post my menu today, as I haven't a clue what to have for dinner either.

Happy Friday everyone, I'm off to stare vacantly into the fridge for a few minutes

Mercy, I'm impressed yuo're sticking to low carb when feeling ill. It's the last thing I fancy when I've got a bug.

I seemed to have lost another pound this morning. Which is ridiculous. THat's 4lb in a week, after four weeks of nothing. How can my body be so mad? Anyway, I'm not complaining.

    B: two slices bacon
    L: mackerel salad
D: not sure yet. Maybe sausages. With a glass of much deserved wine to start my WEEK OFF! Yay.

holland and barrets ( bum! I meant to get coconut oil!) for some vits and came out with ricecakes covered in chocolate :o 6.4g carbs each- thats never going to curb my sweet tooth.- oh well

have you tried a bar of 85% cocoa choc? its a bit bitter for some, but only 15g in a big bar

you can melt it in a bowl over boiling water , add some splenda powder to sweeten , then pour in a bag of hazelnuts or other nuts, spread the mixture out on a plate and stick it in the fridge.

with an Aldi bag of hazelnuts it would be 27 g of carb in the whole choc nut bar, which would make maybe 8 portions.

I know this has been mentioned before, but just in case you have not seen it.

    It's OK - he's family! :rotfl: What's mine is his... :j

Feeling better today but think I'm merely masking the symptoms with Night & Day tablets.

    Last minute adjustments to make.
