    Is Ted still around????

Unfortunately not :( Not really sure what happened to him but think he was stopped from posting??

Don't know if you've seen this post about B12:

Vitamin B complex is usually the culprit for tiredness. B12 in particular is stored up and used over 2-year periods, so if you regularly take too little you will eventually run out and start to compromise your immune system.

However, if you eat plenty of meat and dairy, this is unlikely to be an issue. If you might be low on B12, marmite (both as a spread and a drink) is the answer

So, alias, are you a lover or hater of marmite?! :rotfl:

Well done linni & sarah on your weight losses :T

I didn't know that! (About Ted I mean). Shame.

I hate Marmite. _pale_ My prob might be lack of absorbtion, hence the possible need for jabs but will need to wait till next week to find out. I've been reading up since this morning and it seems icing is actually beneficial and poses no concerns to peeps who are deficient so that's good. :D

Just a random thought (I have lots of those!), Always Harassed, but if they're emailing you a link - have you had a look in your spam folder to see if they're ending up in there? Sometimes emails get mistakenly quarantined as spam coz they resemble bulk mailings... anyhoo I'll shut up now:o :D

    Hope everyone's doing ok

Nice to see new people and returning people here - welcome and welcome back. I'm not as chatty as others but do read everything!

Today I gave into temptation and...... bought a microwave. We had one for many years until I took against them and gave it away, but all this soup eating/drinking is causing a serious saucepan situation - I hate washing them. Of course it's also useful for defrosting stuff when I forget to take food out of the freezer in a timely fashion. So, it's done. Not too happy really but as Sainsbury's had a half price sale on I can live with it. Mind you, if it doesn't earn its keep then it'll be going out to a more worthy home.

Today's food - breakfast, bacon and eggs. Needed the sustenance for my trek into the wilds of Derwentside where it began to snow when I was there.

Lunch was a huge salad with some gammon and then evening meal has been a large bowl of home-made tomato soup. Didn't have the microwave unpacked and set up so yet another saucepan glaring at me.

Loads of green tea has been drunk, and even another cup of black 'normal' tea too at my meeting. I haven't got the habit of taking my teabag with me yet.

I hope everyone is OK - my internal struggles are paying off. Still no booze which means no carbs which means no sugar which means no POISON! :A Boy, am I going to enjoy that glass of wine on 14 February.

Been rubbish, too much choc lying around.

Still no snow here, its been forecast but only had a few flurries. We have got off very lightly.

Not felt like doing much today, did pop into town for a mouse trap, but watched three films cosied up by the fire when i got back, totm is imminent though so i'm blaming that ;)
