    Hi all!

B - 3 eggs scrambled with cheese plus a coupla crackers n pate
D - Ribeye steak, cabbage in butter with lots of black pepper

    Also had some more icecream.

Just not really into it at mo. Still love the food but liking other food too.

Will try to get head round it this week. Still can't feel sleepy till far too late in the evening, funny cos before xmas I could barely stay awake :rotfl: Not been reading, maybe I should start 1 of the 8 new books I bought over the hols :D Am happyish but not focussed at all. Although I did make 4 new lunches for this week - creamy, turkey mince curry with leek, green beans and celery. So not all gone to pot :rotfl:

    Big love to all!

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

Yooooo hoooooo....fat drunk person peeking in. Having last blow out before new routine tomorrow. Bottle of wine has been drunk, chicken curry has been eaten and I'm about to have a look in the junk cupboard. :p < lots of them. :rotfl:

Watching a thing on tv about a bloke who lost 400 lbs and is still a virgin. He looks a whole lot better but he's covered in scars from where he got the excess skin cut off and he's got no confidence and is a virgin. Bless him......ach what the hell...I'd do him. :rotfl:

Will see you all tomorrow, complete with hangover. :D

:rotfl:Me too.. but would he do us :rotfl:

Been a good girlie right up til bedtime, then i had toast :o

Made my soup, roasted the squash with skin on and was a bit like a jkt potato skin, quite edible.
Didnt want to risk spoiling my soup tho so didnt add it, just peeled it away, also added sweaty onions  and carrots as i had a load given to me. Is lovely, and like sweet will use as a starter to fill me up.

Alias, change your avvy missus, xmas is over  :p:D

    Morning all. :)

Will get round to changing my avvy sometime today....I'm going to feel naked without my modesty branches. :D

I weighed myself today, I am 2lbs heavier than I was when I started this last January....and given that I weighed myself with wet hair and before I'd gone to the loo iyswim :D I suspect I'm exactly the same weight as before.

Now that's ridiculous considering all the weight I lost last time, but it's good that I haven't put any more on, I've just put back what I lost. If that makes sense.

I like the year 2010, it's even and balanced, I like symmetrical things. I'm thinking that's a good omen. :D I'm going to have an even and balanced bod this year. :rotfl:

Happy Monday to you all.

Big hellooooooooooo to alias!! Yaay, good to see you back :D

mazzers, I wonder if we can make the squash skin into potato wedge equivalents?? Mmmmm, dipped into garlic mayo?? Will have to look into that one.

Mercy, how did you make your creamy turkey mince curry?? Coconut milk?? Double cream?? Quite fancy trying that.

Well, my kids have finally gone back to school today!! :j They were kicking & screaming (well actually slipping & sliding on the ice) but they managed to get to the bus stop & the bus actually arrived to take them to school this time  First time I've had a bit of peace for over 3 weeks.

    Anyway, menu for today:
    B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
    L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage, soup
D - M&S lime & coriander chicken with cauli mash & green beans

    Have a good day
  • Forgot to say

Have lost 7lbs of the 12lbs put on over Christmas :D

This is quite normal for me & I know tis just water weight, my carb-face has definitely reduced in the last week & my jelly belly is not quite so jelly, but still quite a lot of belly.

And everyone knows the more weight you have to lose, the more weight you lose in the beginning ... :o

Hi all - I've lost 2 lbs so can't complain. Had a baking session yesterday. Cheese scones, flapjaks and bread but only ate 1 scone and a small piece of flapjack - to test them of course. Today I'm having yoghurt, scrambled eggs with cheese mixed in (I'm craving it a lot) and bacon/eggs. I must get some more of the crispbreads as they were lovely.

Is Ted still around???? Just back from the Doc...seems I'm B12 deficient which explains a lot...I've complained about every symptom over the past while so I'm glad it's a 'proper' issue now and not just me moaning. Don't know yet if I need to be jagged or not.

Thought Ted might have come across something about B12 (not D ;)) deficiency on his travels that might be relevent to me / low carbing.

Well, first week down and I've managed to eschew all booze and choc (apart from one square of son's choc while we watched WIlly wonka!) and other forms of pernicious carbs, and have lost 3.5lbs. Not a bad start though I'm sure I've lost more on the opening week before, partic after a gluttonous carb fest like Christmas. Anyway, onwards. I'm trying to be patient. Am being very active too; swimming on Sunday, plus a long walk, yoga every other day and gym as often as I can manage it (will be going today and trying to run. Assuming mylegs don't buckle under the Christmas weight gain :))
