I started off OK, but my daugher got one of those sandwich makers for Christmas, I'll have to stay out of the way when she's cooking them, they smell too good.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

There are a couple of phases to stillmans (its a plan from the 70s- the manuscript is avilable online tho..not sure what I can paste or not paste lol)

QWL - quick weight loss phase

    allowed tea, soda, water

    no fat- butter, oil etc

Basically lean meats, cottage cheese, eggs, tuna is allowed

But... I am vegetarian, lost 50lb in 2008 on Atkins(mins the meat), maintained 8st 5 .. but really would like to loose a halfstone or so to be 100% comfy!

Done a lot of egg fasting- eggs, butter, cream... but this is a bit different...will see how it goes!

I am already dreaming of buttery scrambled eggs...:rotfl:

  • Jordy, have you tried Burgen Soya & Linseed Bread?? Tis fairly low-carb (maybe about 11g per slice??) compared to other bread.
I used to have some in the freezer for emergencies  but tbh, I'm happy with my low-carb crispbreads now. I wonder if you could make a crispbread cheese 'sandwich' & put it in the oven or microwave until the cheese melts, hmmmm, there's a thought!!
Good luck for starting again ... tomorrow?? ;)
  • Sorry, Rebekah, I don't like the sound of stillmans, or at least not the egg fasting bit!! :rotfl:
Do you eat things like quorn instead of lean meat??
Well done on the 50lbs lost in 2008 btw, that's a heck of a lot!!

    Have you tried oopsies?
http://cleochatra.blogspot.com/2008/01/sailor-scouts-make-my-revol-oopsie.html May be good in a sandwich maker when you need the bread sub.

It's about time, if it's eating your furnishings and you have tried all 'humane' (wil be back in there like a shot) ways of doing it - which you have - then death is the way. Sorry for all who think all life is sacred but I'm with mazzers on this. Vermin is vermin and should not be encouraged. I personally hope it sees the trap and thinks 'I'm outa here' like tom n jerry but the truth will be that mazz can put her pans back in the cupboard and we can all relax. Job done. It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

I would if it was me n Sherl had gone all soft.

Hey mazz, we care a lot!

    Big love verminbusters!

    Heya!

Once again, food has been good but I'm still not on standard British time. This week has been a mix up of 'back to work' and being sent home, not getting in 1 day etc. Can't seem to sleep easily before 12 midnight but still getting up at 5.30

Am therefore q nakd and almost weepy with it. Know the crash is imminent but don't wanna lose Sunday entirely :rotfl: Have delayed Tesco del due tomorrow 9-11am will have to be decent by then. Off on night out sat eve. Will do shopping sat aft - for things Tesco can't bring me - so it's looking like Sunday for catching up. All I can do is work it round Gardener's Question Time :rotfl:

    Anyway
B - 2xcrackers with pate and pork yum
L - beef mince and veg curry on cauli
D - ribeye steak plus green beans and pepper sauce

Bit tired so off to try to go to bed. If recent times are to go by I'll be up to 1159pm and end up wondering why.

Big love to you wonderful people!
