Morning all :hello:
Mercy/daisy, you are naughty, naughty girlies, get thee both to the naughty corner!!:rotfl:
mazzers, was 'viola' a freudian slip?! Made me laugh, especially when you said you were going to buy your friend a bunch of flowers, would that be 'voilas' you're getting her?! :rotfl:
Well done on being a good lc girlie btw!!
Menu for today:
B - 4 piggies in blankets (been looking forward to these all week - nomnomnom!!)
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage, soup
D - daisy's chicken pie with green beans
Shoved the butternut squash in to roast when I was cooking the piggies so will be making the squash/cauli/leek soup later, hope I make it as nice as the one I made t'other day.
Had some S&V peanuts & 2 more crispbreads last night, to soak up the half bottle of red wine I was drinkingOoh, I do like a weekend!!
Hope everyone doing ok today, we are practically snowed in here!! :wave:0 -
Some mishbehaving going on I see! We had Chinese takeaway last night, we always do on Fridays, and then decided to dig the car out (about 9.30p.m.) only to find more snow from overnight.
Been out early for a hair cut, my fabby hairdresser has some people in at 7.30 or 8.00a.m. is it's really good for me and my lark-like lifestyle. So, I had my hair cut and done some supermarket shopping and was home in time for the first Time Team episode. Now got some tomato soup cooking, roasted the toms first to get some flavour in them with a liberal amount of garlic, and got it all in some chicken stock I retrieved from the freezer. Also boiled a gammon and roasted some sausages. Next will be a pot of carrot soup (with ginger as I forgot to get coriander) and that will be added to the freezer so should be all ready for next week.
Today: had bacon and egg for breakfast; WILL have the liver and onions with vegs for lunch and probably have some tomato soup with gammon for evening meal.
I'm so proud of myself for not having any alcohol at all :j taking a lot of resistance as life is so poo at the moment (only because of the weather) [JUST beginning to snow here again!] but the green tea is keeping me going. Even resisting the two bottles of Crabbies Ginger Ale given to me by a friend. Will make up for on my hols though :rotfl::rotfl:
Off to have some expensive Spanish raspberries  with double cream as a treat.
Hope all are well and safe.

I have been so good mostly over the festives but now am soooo not right.
B - 2 scrambled eggs over pate slathered crackers
Followed by half a tub of phish food
L - chicken cup a soup plus 200g thin ham (30p!)
D - about 4 potato wedges
7-8 Pints of cider
Supper - cheesy garlic bread with chillis, 2x sausagey kebab type things plus salad
A lot of the things had chillis on em but I'm just not low carb at all todayHave fell off. Was Bro's Bday but that's not an excuse, just a little background
Will have to do better tomorrow.
