It started snowing here half an hour ago and is now coming down quite fast although not settling yet. Eeeek! And we're supposed to be leaving at 4am tomorrow morning! 'is nibs went out this morning and bought snow chains. I hope we don't need them! Apparently you can't go faster than 30 mph with them on.
All I can think of at the moment is warming food like jacket potatoes and treacle sponge pudding with custard. I'm trying to stick to lcing but knowing that the next 12 days will be difficult anyway (it's bad enough being veggie without the lcing too!) and 'homeless' and relying on shop bought food or other people makes it hard. I started last year afterthis trip so hopefully I will be able to concentrate better when I get back.
Hope everyone's keeping warm.Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.0 -

Hi all!
Forgot the lemony soda today  after all thatFelt rough and got quite a sore throat building up to v sore mid morn. Really felt like there was something big in the offing. I had taken some 'cold caps' to stop the dripping snozzle but that was it. About 11.30 am felt better, still blowing nose but no thick head. About 1.30 sore throat gone
Still blowing nose. I applied vaseline with aloe vera after each and every blow so face has held up well. 5.30 pm hadn't blown nose for a while.
Still haven't.
Took 50,000iu of vit D last night (10 of my usual) and the same again today about 6pm. Feel great!
Can't say for sure that it's the vitD that's done it but I've never had such a rapid recovery from an impending snot fest as this!
Have drunk the lemony water and it was nice
Nose is clear, head is clear, feel great!

Hi folks, forgot to tell you about my bargains on Tue, the bad weather kept the usual hunters away, so i managed to get 2x pkts of two fillets of lightly dusted river cobbler ( fish  ) for 40p each, two thick pork steaks for 74 p and 2x pkts of parma ham was £5, reduced to ...... 37p per pack :j
was loads there but have never tried it so only got two.
Nice and cozy in bed now with my friends lappy.. Yay
Have a good night X
I will now0 -
Morning - more snow overnight and more promised to come. Am shopped up and don't need to go out today, but waiting for a TNT delivery as I've ordered 4 iPod Nano's for my 4 nephews in Oz. Great service from the Apple store with 24 hour turnaround with free engraving too. Will only need to buy them Australian power cables/sockets when I get there.
Food is going well. Had a bit of a cheese fest last night and had a couple of pieces before bed, slept really soundly too. I find that recording everything is a real focus.
Didn't have the liver but will do it today at some point. Breakfast coming up in about 20 mins I want to shower first otherwise I'll sit here in jim-jams most of the day and be embarassed when the delivery bloke get here!
Hope everyone is warm and well.0
