I dont bother with induction anymore, i think its only designed to stop cravings and get you into good habits, if a few nuts or some raspberries help me to stick to it then sod it, i'm having them.

Daisy, i thought swede was ok?

Well done Dr dingdong, i went down a few sizes too but have since put it back on so dont let yourself slide, it's all too damn easy to get back into bad habits

    Morning all :hello:
Mercy, how did you make your creamy turkey mince curry?? Coconut milk?? Double cream?? Quite fancy trying that.

Lots of leeks, stock cube, curry paste, chillis, garlic
get cooking with a little butter and water, allow to stew a bit, topping up water as required
Then stirring or turning all the time
Add chopped celery and then Turkey mince, break it up as you cook, give it 5-10 mins
    Add lots of black pepper
Add pumpkin and sesame seeds if you like them
Add green beans and cook for 15 mins,
Mix some double cream with water - or use single cream I spose - then add for final 5 mins. If it's a bit wet, cook for a bit longer, if dry - well you know what to do :rotfl:

Turkey mince needs a bit more seasoning than pork or beef so have a taste and adjust as necessary.

It does end up looking a bit on the green side, that's ok :) I do the creamy ones with a bit less curry sauce than a regular one. But the chillis are there :)

I serve all my curries on a bed of sqashed cauli, just as good as rice for letting it down a bit or padding it out. Also it's just more veg 4 nothin!

    Hope you like it!

    I've been good too
Didnt have anything in work after having my soup n sarnie, was starving when i came in though at 7.30 ( came home early coz of the snow) and there were two dominos pizzas that had just been delivered, of which i was offered a slice, but i refused and fried a pork steak in butter and had with mushroms and cauli icon7.gif
    good eh! ;)
I am now having some yogurt and berries with chopped brazils, yum

Am being good still, and yesterday I had an immense burst of energy, perhaps next week it will be a sustained period of energy?

Brought a big box of raspberries from Costco yesterday, they looked really lovely but had a sort of insipid taste. Very disappointing but a lake of double cream helped them go down OK!

Breakfast - just having a handful of nuts (brazil, almonds and a little bit of walnut as they are so bitter)
Lunch- don't know. Having a working lunch but I bet it's all sandwiches so will take some pepperami and little cheeses with me just in case
Evening meal - home made soup

Green tea is going down really well now and found some more in the back of the cupboard last night. One teabag does 3 cups/mugs so not too expensive.

    Hope all are well.
  • Morning all :hello:

Welcome back Jen & good luck for re-starting on Saturday.

    Well done Dr_D_D!!

Mercy, thanks for the turkey mince curry recipe, sounds lovely.

    Menu for today:
    B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
    L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage, no soup :(
D - probably chicken with the usual veggie cheesiness

Gonna have to buy a butternut squash today, I need my soup fix!!

Have a good day everyone

Lots of snow, glad i'm not working.

Breakfast was a cold sausage and scrambled eggs to follow.

Will be making corned beef stew for the boys so i might make a small pan of lower carb version for myself.

Might make a chilli while i'm at it, cant go anywhere so may as well have a cooking day.
