Gers, good to see you back :D

What is it about Mothers & cakes?! My Hubby brought [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 3 lots of cake back (cherry, Christmas & sultana) from his trip Up North as well.

daisy, good luck for tomorrow!! Turkey soup sounds like a brilliant idea, think I'll make some soup this week. :D

Edit: Hubby has just informed me there's actually THREE different cakes!! Why?!

Thanks - good to be back. And back at work today too, after seeing the optician and getting my car back? Hoping to get some 'night and day' lenses for the travelling in February, not too keen on them generally but they'll be useful for the trip.

Just read this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1240357/The-metabolism-miracle-Loose-weight-revolutionary-diet--based-new-research--help-stay-slim-forever.html - nothing new there?

Just off to have bacon and eggs before my cold, wet and busy day. Had a cup of green tea already.

Hope everyone is warm and healthy.

Hi Everyone - I'm just gonna stand on the scales and weigh and measure myself now that temptation is over. Am having greek yoghurt, bacon and eggs and soup today and am going to do meal plans for the week too. It's great getting back to the daily routine again after the hols.

Absolutely agree with you there, linni!! :T

    Morning everyone :hello:

Ok, here goes, prepare yourselves ...
I put on 12lbs over the Christmas holidays :o I am well & truly back to obese level :o Think being obese again upsets me more than the 12lbs on, if that makes sense?? Anyway, fully expected to put the lbs on, so no great shock, surprised it wasn't the full stone I took off before Christmas if I'm honest.

So, back to lcing as of today!! :j Have had my brekkie (I was absolutely ravenous this morning) & enjoyed it sooo much. :D

    Menu for today:
    B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
    L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese
D - Roast chicken, green beans, cauli mash covered with a creamy/cheesy mushroom & maybe garlicky sauce

Thought I'd start back lcing with my fave low-carb dinner, just to help settle myself back in. ;)

Not sure what today will bring - hunger?? headaches?? definite carb-crash'itis expected though :o

Anyway, lots of luck, support & positive vibes to everyone starting back on the lcing WOE today!! We can do it!! Oh, yes we can!! :j

See you all later lovely lcing peeps

good luck today everyone - good start here - been to aerobics and now just eaten scrambled eggs with butter and cream xx

Bloody annoying that someone else is taking credit and making money from a 'diet' that has been around a long time, and the research has been done by someone else.. metabolism B my ar*e.

Had a lovely night last night, but there will be a bit of a delay in starting lc as i've been given four boxes of half full Indian curries as no-one else wanted them  the things i do for friends ;)

Also, we are meeting up for one last meal on Wed ( as its very unusual to get the time off together and we are making the most ) before we ALL start dieting, so bear with me :rolleyes2
