Another 2 x crispbreads with butter & cheese a bit later on
D - sirloin steak, cauli mash, mushroom & baby spinach in a creamy cheesy sauce
Lesson learned - do not eat 4 bran crispbreads in one day:rolleyes:

Oh dear -was doing so well. Twas only a little pasta....:o
Very sleepy still (not just coz of the carbs) so having an early night. Work is going ok but with all the medication making me sleepy when I get home from work all I can do is go to bed.
Nighty night.

marrow, glad the new job is going well, think it will take a few weeks before you are in a routine & not so sleepy. Hopefully you have the weekends to recharge your batteries.
mazzers, forgot to ask about your cod in butter - where do you buy it from?? I've been thinking of getting some for a while as I lurve fish, but when I looked in Tesco it was really expensive (well, I thought so). Says she who had sirloin steak for dinner tonight!! :rotfl: Twas half price m'lud!!

Was on offer in Tesco last week, cant remember how much but was reasonable.
Offers are usually on end of aisle and thats where i spotted it by the checkouts.
Thought it would be nice with a sauce and under 3g carbs for each one if i remember correctly.

Must have missed it, looked in the fish aisle yesterday but nothing on offer  Never think to look in the Offers bit because it's usually always icecreams & pizzas & other such rubbish that I wouldn't eat (yeah right, just gimme the chance when no one's looking!!)
Had my brekkie & I have to say, spinach is an acquired taste methinks. When I used it last night with the mushroom & creamy cheesy sauce I couldn't actually taste it, but I've just had it in a cheese omelette & it was a bit strong. Didn't chop it up today so don't know whether that made a difference?? Anyway, I shall persevere with it.
B - 2 egg cheese & spinach omelette
L - 2 x bran crispbreads with butter & cheese plus anything else I can find
D - sirloin steak, cauli mash, cheesy spinachy thing & mushrooms if I go shopping today
Have a good day everyone, tis miserable & wet here :wave:0 -
