I could probably look somewhere in the thread for the answer, but it would take me too long.

I would like to know what you are all drinking on a night out?? I used to be a pint man (tennents lager), and lots of it, but i will have to stop that now, so please inform me of what you are on, or do you say stuff it as its only maybe one night a week??

Oh, i am such a whinger :rotfl:

    Aah, she's back!! :p:rotfl:

newcook, I don't use flaxseed (linseeds) but think you can get it in Holland & Barrett.

Boozer, alcohol can stall some peeps, but I never had that problem & I used to drink rather a lot of red wine
Obviously it's up to you if you decide to have a lager splurge one night a week but clear spirits with a sugar-free mixer are virtually carb-free whereas lager would be quite high in carbs.

Hi Boozer, time to change the user name, your boozing days are over  :D

Lager is high in carbs and your body will burn any alcohol as fuel before it burns fat unfortunately, the odd drink is ok-ish probably, but see how it affects your loss, maybe a blow out once a week will be ok for you, lager stalls me ( i love stella or kronenbourg) but spirits and wine seem ok now and again.

Welcome to the thread, you'll have to excuse all the female problems we whinge about on here  feel free to have a moan about man probs tho, if we can help you in any way, we will ;)

*waves* Feeling fit as a fiddle today. Been so darn good :)

Boozer: I rarely drink now aside from 1 glass of champers this w/end.

The bad news is most beers, wines and liquers are high in sugar/carb so no go. If you say stuff it you could easily undo all your hard work in one evening.

The good news spirits are your friend. You'll have to experiment to find out if you stall on them but my brother has been low carbing for almost 8 years and loves a good night out. He sticks to either neat Vodka/Gin or mixes with soda water/diet cola/diet lemonade
  • Forgot to post my menu earlier

    B - blues/rasps/jelly/cream :o
    L - salmon & spring onion mayo/lettuce/coleslaw
    D - corned beef hash

Just had a hot chocolate as I was feeling a bit peckish & my hands kept opening the cupboard & hovering over the Tunnocks Tea cakes that are in there!!

Don't know why but I feel like I could cave in tonight & stuff myself sick!! :(

    *must resist*

    Only 2 pages back!

No wine for me but I overdosed on double cream last night and felt horrible all night and most of today.

Bacon for breakfast and another almagamation of lunch and evening meal with a mix up of leftovers. Not the best day in Gers Towers, but hey ho... onward and upward. Need to increase my activity levels but it's pretty hard with my work schedule, however it's possible. Need to decrease my intake of calories via the oils/cream so have decided to stop taking the linseed oil for a couple of weeks and continue with the coconut oil.

Have cleared out about 25 unwanted/too big Tshirts and will take them to the clothes bank tomorrow when I return things I bought in M&S today. Don't need them and it was just sheer indulgence  lovely lovely red woollen double-breasted jacket is heading back the shop. As I'm determined to continue to lose weight I'm not investing a load of dosh in soon to be unwearable expensive stuff.
  • newcook, there's a 'pizza alternative' on the recipe list on page 1.
It's basically flattened chicken breast with pizza toppings like mozzarella, mixed herbs etc. It's not going to give you the crunch that you like, but a general pizza taste. :D
