Welcome back to the holidaymakers and birthday people - back to 'old clothes and porridge'.
Had a great day with friends and now going to lie horizontal on the sofa and watch The Princess Bride, just missed the start but got it on PVR.
Had chicken again, it was so delicous that I'll make it again.0 -
had a good day up til about 5 - I had eggs, gammon and cauli mash for brunch and some hot and spicy chicken about 3, I did a load of housework and then out of no-where I had a sugar craving (which is unusual for me as I rarely have sugar even when im not low carbing!) I knew I had some double chocolate chip cookies in the cupboard but I was good and took myself to tescos and got a low cal pot of jelly (just under 2 carbs) and scoured all the chocolates to find the one with the lowest carb count - tesco finest swiss plain chocolate which has 6.1 carbs per 2 huge squares(only had 2 peices - so far!)!! so although I have been naughty I have tried to be soooo good about it!! and im still within my 20 carbs...!!
oh, I also checked out the cooking chocolate which is fairly low in carbs but I didnt know if you can eat it the same as a normal bar of chocolate...!!0 -
Hello everyone, just got back
They've taken over the lounge in my absence and turned it into a games room
The cats been 'acting weird' tho, so assuming she's missed me, they bloody haven't!0 -

Had a great time, Benalmadena is so pretty
Loved Morocco, would like to go to Marrakech one day
Had a trip Marbella and Mijas for the day, also went to Torremolinos.
There were pretty little Filipino ladies offering massages on the beach, so after much pondering i decided to indulge.. she looked a delicate little thing, but by God, she was like an all in wrestler when she started kneading and pounding, one of my not so clever ideas :rotfl:0 -
Hi mazz!

I need some nice, quick and easy things to make that are low carb - any ideas?!!?!
im also thinging of doing the breakfast muffin but mixing it with cooking chocolate instead of bacon and sausage... - oh I can so tell TOTM is approaching without even looking at my pill pack!!!0 -
Had a great time thanks, was all belly tho, the meds off the doc was the bloody pill, was like being preggers for a week
And i was eating for two :rotfl:
Did a massage course a couple of years ago and coz my friend dropped out i had to 'partner' with the tutor, so i had a proper massage every week.. for free

Good morning peeps :hello:
Yaay, the wanderers return!! Welcome back marrow & mazzers!! :j:j
Hope you both had a FAB time, sounds like you both did
Tis not fair, I want giant bread pretzels & massages on the beach *sticks pet lip out*
Ah well, back to business ...
g&b, cat food = M&S tinned stewed steakWon't be getting it again, the meat was a bit chewy although the gravy was nice. Was only 5g carbs per half tin.
newcook, have you tried Mercy's mexican fudge?? I know it's egg (again) but it's really nice, like a quiche without the usual pastry.
Corned beef hash is nice too, using cauli mash instead of potato mash & I use leeks & mushrooms instead of onion.
mazzers lasagne is really nice too, using courgette instead of pasta.
I have a bit of a headache this morning, hope I'm not getting hubby's germsHe was still unwell today but has gone to work as he's only 3 weeks into his new job & doesn't want to be off  He probably got his bug from work in the first place.
Anyway, I have things to do & people to see, don't feel like doing anything today (again) as I had a rotten night sleep (again)
Have a good day everyone, will be back later :wave:0 -
