    happy birthday Jen!!!

havent been on here for ages as ive been too busy being a carb devil lol. hope you are all doing good!! coming back to the plan on monday after a lovely deserved weekend away to see friends. i miss you all and your low carbs chats :D x

I'm another one who has fallen off the wagon recently. I'm away at my sisters for the weekend & just know there'll be too many high carb goodies for me to resist at the moment.

I go on holiday in 4 weeks & so I'm back to strict induction on Monday. The holiday is in Scotland but there's an indoor pool & sauna & I don't want to be too embarrassed in my cossie. :o

I don't understand why I go off the rails really because I absolutely love the food on the low carb way of eating. The brain is a strange thing - or maybe that's just me. :rotfl:

Been breakfasted, showered and dressed. Even got the washing machine rumbling away merrily.

Last night I had a energy surge  and began clearing out yet more books from the bedroom, got 3 piles of them now cluttering up the room much more than they ever did when on the shelves. Seems the intake of flaxseed oil is having an effect though I'd prefer it to happen when the sun is up and shining!

Woking from home today as I'm waiting for a delivery of favourite wine which is coming by courier, hopefully it'll come early in the day so I can get out.

Lunch will be those chicken breasts with cream cheese and evening meal probably something salady again. I do tend to eat the same stuff regularly but only cos I really enjoy them, for years my breakfast always included bananas, with cereal, with porridge, on toast with peanut butter, on toast without peanut butter or even just alone. Thought I'd miss my bananas more and continually surprised that I don't!

Whatever your day brings I hope it brings tasty food too.
  • Morning peeps :hello:

Mercy, lol at your hairy story!! :rotfl: I have the same problemo!! :o Maybe we should invest in that hair zapping thing that alias was on about a while back - tis bloomin' expensive though!!

focus & dobie, I have been there & done that many times, only just got my head together to give low-carb another go!! :o

B - 2 pork escalopes & blob of egg mayo
    L - egg mayo salad??
    D - ??

Out for dinner tonight :j Haven't been out for a meal for weeks so really looking forward to it :D There may be potatoes on the menu but I'm going to try & just have a couple of boiled spuds, rather than my fave mound of chips!! Hoping to get a chicken dish that I've had before as it was truly yummy last time & at least that's low-carb.

Am also allowed wine tonight!! Haven't had anything to drink for 5 weeks which is a bit of a miracle for me!! :o So, I'm going to buy a bottle today, actually fancy a freezing cold pinot grigio even though I'm usually a red wine drinker.

I'm off to have my brekkie now, I'm starving & I just had to put the pork escalopes back under the grill because one of them was still a bit pink!! _pale_ Don't want to make myself ill before tonight, eek!!

Have a lovely day everyone, yippee it's Friday!!

Morning! Only had a sausage for breakfast as my poached eggs exploded in the microwave!!!! Got a couple of burgers and another sausage for lunch with my chilli and mayo dip and for tea I am going to make a chicken curry (I have one of those Patak paste things lurking in the cupboard).

With it being the weekend I fancy having a tipple or 2 – what can I have?!?! I am usually a wine drinker…

If you must have a tipple (and I really must tonight ) then have something like gin or vodka (clear spirit) with a slimline tonic or another sugar-free mixer.

I used to drink red wine as that's ok in moderation but I'm having white tonight because I just want it!! :D

Hi Jen Not only am I with you back on induction on Monday I'm also with you because it happens to be my birthday today & I'm having a birthday weekend! Someone at work made chocolate brownies with chocolate chips & pecans to celebrate & I had 3.
They were really gorgeous & as she made them specially I could hardly say no could I?

At my sister's tomorrow & Sunday & I expect she'll also make a cake & there's bound to be pudding.

I feel like a pudding at the moment & I'm sure that by Monday I'll be really ready to stick to induction 100%.
