    Morning Everyone

I'm a very very very happy little bunny this morning as I have weighed myself this morning and lost an amazing 3lbs!!!!Checked it several times so no blip on the scales.I did only manage to eat a mushroom omelette yesterday due to a domestic with my OH but hey 3lbs is 3lbs.I've just got another 3lbs to lose and I hit target!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OH is a little worried though as I'm now in a size 10 and he's worried that the extra 3lbs might just push me into a size 8 and he doesnt want me to get too skinny so could I possibly eat a little more please.I never thought I'd hear those words come out of his mouth but it made me smile. You might think 3lbs wouldnt push me down a dress size but I've found that I lose more inches than I lose lbs but I could do with losing a couple of inch off my boobs as for some reason they are still quite large and tbh getting out of proportion with the rest of me!

Can I just weigh into the silicone bakeware debate and say that I own loads of the bloody stuff and its rubbish.I have the cake cases and every damn thing I've ever tried in them has stuck to them and they are an absolute nightmare to clean.

Mazzer glad you're having a nice time and I'm not at all jealous of the view or the weather or the large amount of food and alcohol you are consuming. No I'm not really I'm not *sob* *sob*

Well done on the 3lb off! Must be great to see progress. :j

Just checked my silicone stuff and it's totally clean, just bunged it in dishwasher. Not tried the individual cake cases though, maybe they're trickier. Was thinking of getting some too, hmmm.

  • Tis quiet on this thread these days

Think I'm turning into mazzers, all I want to do is sleep!! Don't know if it's low-carb or totm but I just feel drained. Early night tonight methinks.

Had flattened piri piri chicken (grilled) with cauli mash & cheese sauce for dinner - very nice it was too. Also had some sugar-free jelly & half a natural yoghurt for pud.

Well, I'm off to me bed, see you all tomorrow.

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Early morning start for me today! Just having my first cup of tea and then coconut oil with breakfast soon to follow. Then I'll be off for a swim - it's so exciting to have rediscovered the will to get back into the pool cos I love it. :j

Have no idea what's for other meals yet as there is no 'ready' meat in the fridge so a little shopping trip is in order at some point during my day.

    Hope everyone's day is brilliant.
  • Is there a limit to how many eggs i should eat a day?

I have 2 for breakfast and usually 2 for lunch, is that ok?

  • Morning all :hello:

Gers, I'm still plucking up courage to go swimming :o I'm sure I would love it, if I ever get there

g&b, not sure about the eggs?? I seem to be eating a fair few as well, but not as many as you!! There's always mixed messages about too many eggs/not enough eggs?! As long as your diet is varied I think.

    B - 2 pork escalopes
    L - ??
D - chicken with cheesy leeks & cauli mash

After me saying about having a varied diet, I look at my menu for today & it's pretty much the same as yesterday!! :o It's a case of 'do as I say, not as I do' - I should be a Politician!! :rotfl:

Anyway, I'm off to have my brekkie as it's in the George Foreman as I type!!

Have a good day peeps

You would - the water gives a feeling of weightlessness. I am a swimmer and have sorely missed the water over the past year or so but this low carb effect has brought me back some confidence. Felt great to slide through the water, still hate getting dried and dressed. Wish someone would invent socks/tights that don't stick or twist.

Been out and got some chicken breasts and going to stuff them with cream cheese and wrap in parma ham (a la TV advert for philly!).

Not had lunch yet... will wait for a bit and have an early evening meal.

I don't think that's excessiv. The humble egg was rehabilitated recently and is no longer a cholesterol threat :rotfl: In fact the cholesterol that eggs provide is the good one and so actually good for us. Just so long you are not getting 'egg bound' and suffering 'congestion' I wouldn't worry about it at all.

    .

i love swimming too and think I should start going again, my main worry is hairyness :o Even after using the strimmer I still feel embarrassed at the sheer amount of either spiders legs or rash I exhibit. It's not such a problem unless I'm wearing my glasses ie when geting changed in and out :rotfl: Totally agree about the socks :rotfl: My local is so warm in the changing room that even if you get proply dry you still work up a sweat getting dressed :D
