Oooh at Lesley getting feisty :D i'm a terrible swearer too :o

Focus, you do need to put the !!!!!! straight, and for starters i would be eating a few cough drops every day, what a ridiculous thing to complain about icon8.gif

Do you think he is maybe doing it tongue in cheek?

If someone is making you feel like staying away from work, your manager should know about it, that is just not on in this day and age, most firms take bullying very seriously.
I know some people find confrontation difficult but maybe you could just say something like ' you watch i dont report you for bullying matey' or 'i've been keping a record of your bullying you know' say it lightly, but make sure he knows you mean it.

I've lost some weight! It's only a couple of pounds though and I have to say I've lost those same pounds about 2,000 times so it's a hollow victory.

I'ev got my reunion this weekend and I'm really stressed about how everyone will look at me. I'm much bigger than I was in college. And they're all the kind of people who will be exactly the same size, believe me. Sigh.

Thanks for everyones comment :) i made it in and glad i did, i was just not looking forward to having to put up with snide remarks made at me by him.

And no there is no way he does it in a teasing or humourous way, the way he talks its so rude and angry. hes always angry even about stupid little things and he takes it out on anyone he can but im the one sat closest to him and i get the full blunt of it. Im going to have a word with my manager about this when he comes back to work. People have said i should report him before but i didnt want to make it into a big deal but now i feel like if i dont say something he is going to continue to walk all over me and make my work life miserable. Ive thought about it alot and he just takes the p' all the time. Treats everyone like dirt. I love my job apart from having to put up with this person. No one likes to go work as it is but its made worst when you feel you have to work with a unruling child who likes to argue over anything he can.

on topic now, still not very low carb :)

Woke up for the loo and couldnt go back to sleep, dont know whether its overtiredness from yesterday or thinking about the pre holiday sorting and faffing.

Cant seem to get on track either

It's the holiday I reckon, I always get a bit disfocussed and sleep badly whenabout to embark on an adventure :D

Glad you're going to tell your manager, the guy is playing too big a part in your life, he's a work colleague and shouldn't need thinking about. Go girl. you do right.

Funny about the sleep thing, my Newton has taken to waking me up about 5 mins before the alarm goes off, then when I snooze it he falls quite asleep!

sweets - the raw bacon thing ain't so bad, just had smoked bavarian ham and it was lush :rotfl:

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

Good evening everyone, i ironed for two and a half hours, i usually only do a few items at a time :o
I did it sitting down while watching TV, could've ironed all day, is so easy when sitting, it does take a bit of getting used to, i perfected the art when i had sciatica, only stopped coz i had my hair cut and coloured :j

All i need now is to unstrap my belly and shove it in the cupboard til i come back..

Started of great foodwise but am sad to report things went downhill very rapidly icon9.gif

Not gonna dwell on it though, will try again tomorrow icon7.gif

Have a good evening folks icon7.gif
  • I have been soooooooooooooo hungry for the last few days, not really sure why, maybe to do with the increased exercise I've been doing but it's driving me mad! Managed to stay lc though so yay for that!

My 2 new favourite snacks are Bernie Matthews Turkey Ham with soya beans and salt/pepper cashews, and for a sweet fix, fat free fromage frais mixed with quark and some splenda, with a squirt of Mr T's raspberry puree. Ooh and one of my choc soya protein pancake thingys with a cup of black tea.

Now that's set me off again *rumble*, good job it's sleepy time!

Hope everyone manages to get over their various issues soon and we have a team of happy lc campers back again!

    *sneaks in sideways*

    Hi peeps

i`m back :D - for how long i`m not sure as the purse strings are dictating what actually happens at the moment. I had started a fund for a new sofa but the one that i was going to stretch my budget to wouldn`t fit around the corner into my living room - result no sofa and me pinching some of the pot for nice lc grub :D
This months CC bill is here and it`s not as bad as i expected and i can spread things out over two months it seems :jso fingers crossed i am here for a good while.

DH has been really good about it and even came to the shops with me to restock the fridge and he has said that he will use up the food in the freezer ( might manage it in a couple of years :rotfl:) I think he`s noticed that i`m back to a miserable grump now that too many carbs have appeared in my diet and i`m annoyed with myself most of the time, this is a far cry from the DH who only a few weeks ago said "how long are you gonna stay on this flaming diet?" or words to that effect, i was cooking for me and starving him at first lol, he does work long shifts and i normally do all the cooking for the evening meal but had slipped quite a lot as i was preoccupied with lcing.

Anyhoo - i`m off to work out a proper meal plan based on my full fridge and i`m back on induction as of today :j

    Have a good day folks.
