Welcome Helen!
I do eat eggs coz I get anaemic (bad periods -tmi?) but need a few more recipes I think. Bit bored of ommlette now. Don't eat fish (just don't like it), but strangely I don't mind eating prawns occasionally. Weird huh!
Sunnyday (great name) -think you're on the right track with the teabags. I lurve my cuppa but its just not the same without milk, then I just seem to drink loads. Not sure about Cammomile though, my OH makes me drink it when I am ill. Bleugh.
Hello everyone else. Off to watch Chuck now. X"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
Hello to all new folk! You'll enjoy this board
low carb today as everyone was out of the house during meal times so:
cheese and bit of onion omelette with meatballs for brunch
chunk of cheddar for snack and
chicken breast baked with garlic and cheese and tomatoes with greeeen veg and a dollop of butter on top
was rather tasty but need to up my water intake, I know its very low but just couldn't get it down me today...
I'm not bothering with milk as I think it stalls me too, even just a dash in tea
haircut tomorrowso will be feeling nice and new...! going to have a pamper session in the eve too
marrow - I think what you've done is brave, good on you. My OH left his job 3 months ago due to 40% pay cuts and it affecting his mental and physical health, he's still job hunting but is avoiding sales so struggling! BUT I'm sure you'll be fine, he's the happiest I've seen him in a long time and much healthier, and thats a priority in my book, over any job
Helen - your plan sounds interesting, its very similar to atkins just with fruit. Sounds like its based on same principles though so you should find it a great way of eating
Hope everyone else is well, I'm not weighing myself for a good few weeks until I can really settle into the way of eating properly. My first weigh in will be the 12th September...

Good morning, i've been up since 4.30
Couldnt sleep, (you dont hear me say that very often  )
I was so bored i had some toast and coffee
I'm off now to watch a film so i probably wont surface til next week, so if you dont hear from me, i'm not dead, (hopefully) just catching up on my sleep0 -
Was JUST about to have my cup of tea and coconut oil mixture when I remembered that I'm having a fasting blood test this morning! Only water until then.
Organised with the doctors surgery to have a smear and then decided to ask for bloods too. There is a (male) family trait for high trigylceride levels and I like to keep a check on them even though I'm female. And got a urine sample to take in as it's been cloudy for weeks. All in one go!!
So, no breakfast for me yet but will get things ready for my return home.0 -

Jen love your avator
On the low carb front im being very good but its totm right nowand i hate it when i come on cos i feel blah most of the time and want to get junk inside me. Also i normally retain water which bums me out when i dont see a good result luckily i dont have any scales so cant see the damage. Cant believe its coming up to the end of August already, soon be xmas.

Hey Mazzers and Sweets!
My Mum seems OK, thanks - still on the boat so I don't hear much, but the last update was that she'd stalled on 10 stone, just half a stone over her target weight. I'm sure the last bit will be much easier when she's home and with kitchen
I'm happy too - just weighed in at 10st10 - 3lbs lighter than I've ever weighed in at! And I'm chuffed to bits losing 3lbs in just 2 days of smoothie dietMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
