Think about how slim you'll be for the festive season
just wanted to say that this is what ive been thinking about since ive started, keep thinking about last xmas and the office xmas party, was the only blob there and i hate any pics i see of myself. want to be able to wear a nice dress this year, hoping for this but who knows.
still have 7 months to get rid of these lbs.

good morning everyone
official weigh in day for me and i have kept off the weight i had lost the other day and an extra 0.5lbs. not trying to rub it in anyones face but am so happy about it. And believe me i probably have alot more weight to lose than others
Congratulations on this loss!!woke up way too early today, wanted to have a lie in until at least 10-11 but woke up about 8and when i wake up early i get hungry earlier and end up eating loads more throughout the day. not good one bit! o well will try to keep active awhile longer.
I too woke up way too early but did a few things around the house and then lay down again - had another 2 hours sleep! It's almost impossible for me to get back to sleep once I awake in the mornings but have found this ability to return to bed really useful.
Now got a minted lamb burger in the oven and all the salady bits out of the fridge.0 -

I hate pics of myself too, i am so critical, hated having them taken when i was slim too, of the few i've got, i wish i'd had more taken now, cos i looked fine.
Dont feel bad that you are losing and others are not, you deserve it if you are being good.
I am so dreading work tomorrow, dunno why, am doing ok. Maybe it's time to change depts. :rolleyes:0 -
Hello!
Had a great start to yesterday. Got all the shopping done, treated myself to some nice new frilly knickers and felt great
Got home and almost immediately came down with my mates summer cold  Guy I get a lift off has been coughing and spluttering all week and I've been forced to breathe shared air
Anyway, spent the rest of the day 1-7pm sneezing and snoozing. come 7.30 I wanted fish chips n peas. So I got myself sorted (mineral makeup, just blot and you're off:)) and made the first trip to the chippy for well over 12 months.
Got the fish n peas together with seperate chips. Wolfed pea n fish mess but only had 1/3rd of chips. Fed some remains to cats - Sherlock loves chips - then cleared up and slept like the dead.
Woke this morning stinking of 'sickly sweat' but feeling great!
Not saying FC&P are medicine, think that's the vit D working :j
I just don't get colds as bad anymore. But I do think that the FC&P fuelled my system in a way that pure lc just wouldn't have. Truth be told the chips weren't that good, that's why I left most of them
Just had yogurt n nuts for brekkie, followed by a tuna steak for lunch. Not craving carbs as such but have made some coconut muffins for next few days.
I am, however, mindful of food creep as we all should be. (Folds arms and nods sagely.)

I found a load of beef mince in the freezer yesterday so have made a giant burger :rotfl:
Added herbs, beef and veg oxo cubes, salt, worcester sauce, tabasco, pepper and mixed well by hand. Pressed into the base of a large roasting dish and cooked for 30 mins at 180'C. Poured off exess fat and cut with spatula into pieces. dried off for another 10 mins in oven.
Lots of nice meaty chunks for lunches etc. Great with mayo and salad!
Yum!

Mmm mercy, sounds nice, must try.
Glad your feeling better after your fisn n peas n chips, i am rarely ill either, i put it down to lots of rest, when my body says 'sleep' i usually do.. but awkward when i'm in work mind
Which mineral make-up do you use?
I have only just started using a mineral powder/foundation thingy, and its great, evens out skin tones, but i bought a cheap one to try (rimmel) as i always end up throwing out foundation, but i love it and would like a better quality one.0 -

I use lily lolo
http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/
You can get very cheap samples to check out the best shade for you. I won the rimmel one but found it a bit cakey and with little coverage when compared to lily lolo version. I've also tried the one on the 'freebies small spend' board. Was good but still prefer Lily Lolo ones. I've been using them for ages.
I like that when I have a tan I can mix a little of the darker one in and get the perfect shade.
True minerals do not have talc or anything which bugs can grow on. This means that if you sleep in it your not likely to wake up plooky. Rimmel does contain talc but think it's advertised as something like 90% mineral content.
If you do try others, keep the rimmel brush as it seems quite nice. I tap my powders into a small chinese ramekin to swirl em together.

I had a couple of crispbreads with Philly. I found these in Tescos today - about 3gms of carb each - Dr. Karg Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed Crispbread - Ingredients: Whole-grain wheat flour*, cheese* (8%), pumpkin seeds* (6%), sunflower seeds* (3%), sesame seeds* (3%), oats*, linseeds* (2%), sea salt, yeast, barley malt extract. A bit like eating cream cheese spread on chewy cardboard but very satisfying and filling - organic as well:p
I had burgers tonight as well - just a couple with some blue cheese and home made coleslaw - I must get around to doing my own mayo as well as it tastes so much yummier, esp. when you add your own bits - mustard, blue cheese etc.
My weigh day isn't till Wednesday but not feeling it this week somehow - must up my water however much it makes me gag.Noli nothis permittere te terere

Just to add to the mineral make up thing.
I only use make up at weekend (so far :rotfl:)
so haven't gone through much. Though you really don't need much with a good mineral anyway. Anyhoo, I've bought sample sizes 3 times in about 16 months and still have some left. I also have good samples from everyday minerals
https://www.everydayminerals.com/ind...d=26&Itemid=40
And I do mix the types too. Probly have enough for another 6 months all told.
I will NEVER use a liquid / paste / ' pressed powder type' foundation again.

Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!:mad::eek::mad::eek::mad:
I've just weighed myself and have put on all the weight I have lost -8lbs in just a week!!!! Is that some kind of record???? I wasn't even being that bad. Didn't eat ice cream, pasta, rice or bread. Had a jacket potato and some chocolate but really I could have pigged out much MUCH more. It can't be all due to the PCOS. Man, it was such a challenge to lose it now I am back to square one. How can it take only 7 days to undo 2 months work? Sigh. Feeling really annoyed with myself.
So back to eating salad, eggs and cheese from now on then. I'd better not win any holidays from the comping page or I'd come back as big as a house!"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0
