Ive been v good lately, not wanted snacks as such. Last 2 days (stress driven?) I've eaten more than I usually do in the eve meal. Yesterday I ate about 100g of pecans after tea. just cos I could :( (I didn't weigh em, just looked like 2/3rds of the bag)

I barely tasted em  Now and then I remembered to taste what I was eating. That is no way to eat!

Blaming it on the stress. Not allowing my 'f**kometer' to do more than flicker in the day seems to make me hungry :rotfl:

    Honest.

Found this recipe for mayo using coconut oil and thought it might be of interest:

Coconut Mayonnaise - recipe from Tropical Traditions

    1 whole egg
    2 egg yolks
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon Himalayan Salt
    1/4 teaspoon white pepper
    1/2 cup
Virgin Coconut Oil (melted if solid)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

    1. Put the eggs, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into a food processor or blender: Then with the processor or blender running on low speed, start adding your oils very slowly. Start out with drops and then work up to about a 1/16-inch stream. It should take about two minutes to add the oil.
    2. Continue blending until there is no free standing oil.

    Makes about 1 1/2 cups

    Having said that

I don't fancy anything for tea cos I've had 3 cans of Strongbow. (ls it stress or just an excuse?)

I have greek yogurt and more pecans for my evening meal but I'm not even hungry at all :)

    Will have em later, mind.

I'm off, you some good peeps so I'll be back :rotfl:

    Big love

    Have you tried it?

I reckon it could get a bit solid if the temp was below 18'C. That's ok though if it's tasty :)

Thought i'd mention that i'm taking about 18 tablets every night, (3 are BP meds) and do you know, i had a horrible ganglion type thing on my ankle, had for a few yers and i wanted it removed but the doc said it will only return, well.. i noticed yesterday that its gone.. completely
Can only put it down to my supplements.

Hey suzy, where you off to?
I'm going to Benalmedena for a girly holiday.

Its been 15 weeks and about 15lbs, got almost another 15 weeks to go, and another stone would be fantastic, and is certainly do-able.

Oh, and will i never learn, i've got another very sore plook on my inner thigh.
Just thought i'd keep you all informed.:D

    :hello:

Hello everyone. You all seem so nice. I've been reading for a few weeks & thought one of you is bound to know the answer.

I'm coming of the end of my second week low carbing, following the Idiot Proof Diet. I have no problem with the food so I've stuck to it easily so far & I drink masses of water - at least 3 litres a day at the moment 'cos it's so hot.

The problem I have is aching leg muscles. They feel as if I've done masses of exercise when I haven't & I'm finding my usual level of exercise very difficult to keep up with.

I think I understand it's because the muscles will normally go to burn carbs first & of course I'm eating far fewer than I would normally so they're not available but what's the answer?

I enjoy this way of eating, it seems to suit me because I feel really well & I've lost 5lbs so I don't want to give up. Neither do I not want to exercise so I'm in a bit of a quandry.

    Thank you in advance.

    Morning Everyone

I've been lurking recently with nothing particularly productive to post.I do read the thread every day so know what you lot are up to!:D

Mazzer I'm a little confused by the BG results you got too. With all the bumf I've read over the last year that Ted has posted I would have thought it would have been lower but heyho I suppose every body reacts differently

Dobie I find my leg muscles ache when I sit down for any length of time and I've been icing for over 12months now.So maybe its just one of those things and tbh I can live with it for the weight loss:D

Its been a funny week here I havent lost any weight but I have lost the weight I put on last weekend when I was a seriously bad girl.It was my MD's first communion so cake etc was consumed and when I weighed myself on Tuesday I'd gained 3lbs:eek:.Does anyone else find a delayed weight gain from carbing?I find I gain weight up to two days after my lapse so quite depressing really especially when I've got back onto my normal LC diet. But oh well should stop me cheating but it doesnt so I must be a serious case:rotfl:.Also had loads of school based activities to attend to which have meant I've been grabbing the first thing my hand finds when I get back home:o.According to my calendar its not my TOTM until the 9th but somehow I get the feeling this month I am going to be early as I feel decidedly bloated and my rings are tight which usually means I'm retaining fluid which is a pointer for me to TOTM.OH is on holiday from next Thursday so hopefully I can get it over and done with before then as it always seems every time he has a holiday I get my period:rotfl:

By the way can I just say the Coconut Mayonnaise looks intriguing but somehow cant see my local Asda stocking Himalayan Salt:eek: and if I ask them about it they might just send for the men in white coats in vans with square wheels:rotfl:

Have a good day everyone catch up with you later
