evening all, im really watching my budget but the more i read about the coconut oil the more curious i am about how it might affect me :)

today was a real tester at work. i find it really hard to be the bigger person with this guy. he is just not reasonable one bit. f him im not gonna back down. Im sick of him acting like a p'ick all the time.

TOM right now so i think thats why im not being very successful being low carb. I will get over it though. Keep looking at everyone in the office and outside wearing all these nice summer dresses and im so jealous im wearing like either long sleeve or semi long sleeve tops, nothing that is suitable for this weather :S

I recently bought the Dr Mary Enig book 'Eat fat, lose fat' and although I haven't read it all through, that is where I picked up on the coconut oil 20 mins before meal. I think the dose was BMI of over 25 = 1 1/2 tabs, under 25 - 1 tabs. I have found it much easier to take since putting the jar in the conservatory - thanks mazzers.

Mine is melted just from being in the kitchen in this weather.
I tried it off the spoon twice and both times it made me cough like crazy.

Think i'll try it in some hot squash before meals though.

Mercy, i'm gonna try harder than i have been doing too, would like to lose another stone by 20th Sept.

Not been so good today but will try harder tomorrow ;)

Why dont you look on ebay or somewher for some floaty kaftans.
I have had 4 of them recently, (from ebay) and they are fab, light and cool and ideal for this weather
My skinny friend even fancied one and wanted it in her size but it was a one off private sale, and it looks lovely on, really quite slimming.

Focus, here's the one that is the nicest, it has strands of gold thread that shimmer in the sun, is lovely on.
I just searched kaftan and the size or beach kaftan or floaty top, etc, i hope you get lucky.

This is another that is really light and floaty and has a few sequins that catch the light, it looks great with jeans and cost 99p.
The other one cost £6.49, both were BNWT (new without tags)

Im pretty good at swooping in last minute and getting results though :D

They are things i bid on and won.

Tbh, i dont know what constitutes office wear , i spose some folks are casual and some are smart, depends what your office is like.
I would normally only wear something like this on holiday but in this exceptional weather, i would wear this out for the day or evening, lets face it, some peeps are out in shorts and flip flops in the pubs :rotfl:

Maybe if you found something in white to team with linen trousers or plain black trousers or skirt. or even jeans if thats acceptable where you work

Have a little mooch, go on.

Had to add that i am a bit of a hippy at heart so have always like this sort of thing.
Also, i found some fab linen safari style tops( sounds dated, i know, but they aren't) in Peacocks for £9 and they are real nice quality, ( the type of thing that M&S would be charging £30 for ) and had lots of compliments wearing those and they would be suitable for the office.

For the first time yesterday (I'm just over 13 weeks into my diet) I was thinking I've had enough of this. I'm really pleased with the results and don't want to put on, so hoping the feeling passes.
My OH had a stoneground wholemeal loaf sitting on the bench, and I got the crust and smothered it with thick butter hoping it would help to lower the GI further, it did tast good though....

I love those kaftans Mazzers, going to have a mooch around ebay now.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
