Im another one who jumps on and off the scales all day :D but its the weight that I am on a Tuesday mornig that is my weight for the week IYSWIM

I've gained back 2 of the 7lbs that I lost thru not eating last week so in total Ive lost 12lbs since the beginning of May. Not that much really in 8 or so weeks but hey if I hadnt been doing this Id still be carrying those extra 12lbs.

B 2 spoonful of nuts and seeds with greek yougurt

L tuna mixed with greek yogurt, toms and onion

D the rest of the tomato/veg soup I made the other day, some nuts and greek yogurt

Is it obvious that I've got a huge tub of LIDL Greek Yogurt that Im trying to finish by the sell by date :rotfl:Actually the sell by date was 26th June, but its still ok to eat:D

Hope you feel better tomorrow Marrowgirl, my days of feeling like a hefferlump totally outnumber the days I feel glam and good about myself but those days are well worth waiting for

    Hello

    (I'm not dead)

Back after my lovely weekend in Wolves. It's amazing how connecting with someone who totally meshes with you can lift your spirits! Everytime we meet there's no wierdness just right back to jibberring away like nutters :) My best lady:)

I made an omlette with 4 eggs, spring onion, hotdog sausages, pepper, courgette, tomato, cheese, mushroom, chillis. I do em half on ring, half under grill. My latest one was so stuffed with stuff that I had to whisk up another egg to make sure it would bind :)

When it's just about done I split it into about 8 pieces and give it a little longer to dry off. These do great for 2 lunches. I take mini tomatoes and salad and can get a mid-morning snack and lunch out of half the omlette.

I'm a comitted low carber who happens to be quite happy too :)

    Imagine my glee!:rotfl:

I'm not weighing myself at all - couldn't face it and haven't got scales, however I'm trying on clothes which have been hanging unused in the wardrobes and can already wear my favourite outdoor jacket. For ages it didn't even close anywhere and now it does... so onward and downward.

The mixture of being energised and tired is weird but it's mostly energised and probably the coconut oil is helping there. At least now I have more 'get up and go' and find myself doing bits of housework at odd times of the evening  until I realise it and then stop.

So far, for me, LCHF is the way to go. Fingers crossed it lasts.

I was just coming on here to ask if anyone else was watching! There was nearly no fat in the diet and loads of fruit!! Well researched then:rotfl:

Also, i know its probably rude to say, but the dietician on that programme was a bit of a chubster and i wouldnt take advice from a fat dietician:o

Not seen it but it's typical of hype tv.

Badger - Recently I got weighed at the docs and found I was a stone or so heavier than I thought I was. Got new scales for home and they agreed. you could get weighed at Boots or similar to see if it needs investigating further? I'm so glad I found out when I did :) Lost 7 lbs almost immediately with the worry :rotfl:

Took food with me for weekend. Had a few scotch eggs, cheese, yogurt n nuts and had eggs, cheese and sardines for breakfast

Did have 'half fish n chips' for lunch satdy, nice small portions and settled stomach for second onslaught of tasty cider :rotfl:

Also a spicy soup, lentil based. Was all v doable as better than I normally manage :rotfl:

Will be taking some food to Switzerland in August too, It'l make such a difference, and won't be forced to put on half a stone like I did last time :)

Hope you all well n happy!

  • Re egg pancakes - they work really well; a couple of eggs beaten, fried in a big frying pan until they are tougher than you would do for an omelette, then flipped. Use like a wrap, or (my favourite when I want something sweet) with whipped cream and low-carb maple syrup.

    Morning all :hello:

Tis quiet on here without [STRIKE]Thunderpants[/STRIKE] mazzers :D

Tis a lovely sunny morning but forecast thunderstorms later!! Eek!! Got caught in a downpour last night when I was out for a walk, looked like Mrs. Wet T-Shirt when I got home!!

Had piri piri turkey for dinner last night, yum yum. Not sure what to have tonight?? Should have a salad but have no salad stuff in & can't be bothered to go & get some so????? Hopefully will find something in the cupboards/freezer/fridge etc.

As you can see, my meal planning has gone a bit awry (as has the flylady housework but that's another story :o) Still clinging on to the exercise though, half an hour walk every day but the wii fit is dwindling to about 10 minutes these days

    Sorry, I'm waffling (as usual).

Have a lovely day everyone
