    Hello All,

I feel terrible today. Had a bit of an upset tum over the weekend and still feel rough. The heat is making me crabby, and I feel fat like a heffer. Caught my reflection in a window yesterday and it wasn't good. Can't weigh myself properly as parents have taken the scales I was using on holiday (oh yes, they weigh daily too!) so I can't tell if I have put on or not but my boobs feel like huge watermelons . I've been sooo good too, even resisting Mr Whippy's regular visits (he parks right outside my house, the tease).
The kitten has not only been sick again (nice thing to wake up to) but has found the teddy I had got for my friends new baby and decided to rip it to shreds.
So today is a day of moaning and being generally grumpy.

    Hi

My favourite egg dish at the moment is a sweet omlette. I mix two eggs with about a dessert spoon of cream cheese, some almond essence and splenda. Pour the mix in an omlette pan and cook through to desired consistancy. It makes a nice change to savoury eggs.

scrambled eggs with cheese? (sounds yuk but quite comforting)
Frittata? -massive omlette finished under the grill with anything in it. I like onions, peppers and broccoli. (eaten with salad or coleslaw. Mmm)-could be very nice with bacon though.
Devilled eggs? -boiled eggs -yolk removed then mashed with mayo, mustard, pepper and possibly chives, dusted with paprika.
    Or how about Flamenco eggs?-
Fry 1 onion with some garlic. Add 1 red pepper (chopped). Then 4 toms (or a tin) big handfull of sliced mushrooms. simmer for 5 mins or til toms are cooked.
pop in oven dish. make 3 or 4 indents and crack an egg in each. Bake in oven til eggs are set (about 15-20 mins on med heat, gas 4). Done.
I like it a bit spicey so I add chilli, but could add bacon or anything really.

Its raining now. This is not improving my mood, but at least its not hot anymore. :D

    morning everyone!!

well done on your loss sss :) how often do you weigh yourself? i check my weigh everyday but only count sundays results so it looks like i only weigh in once a week :D i cant go without checking to see how much i weigh. i know i shouldnt do it often do!! Sometimes after ive eaten i see how much the food has made me put on and it motivates me to go do some exercise (this trick hasnt worked in a while though lol)

im getting stuck for ideas for what to eat. trying to only spend like £20 for the week. Dont even know if this is possible on this woe :S

I only 'record' my Monday morning WI. I do jump on the scales through the week, maybe a couple of times just to see how I'm doing. I like to weigh after a poo....sorry TMI, I know, but it does make such a difference!

Have you tried Delia's 3 cheese souffle omelette? Dead cheap and cheerful and I think it tastes really luxurious. Do you have a Lidl near you?
