mazzers - stand away from that ice cream. no more sugar !!!
lovely to hear you've a) had the bg test and b) booked a holiday. Well done to you.
Your ex situation sounds familiar. The trouble is that you have to have contact because of your son. My son eventually told his father to only ring on son's mobile and not the landline and that helped. Didn't work all the time but I just did the 'can't stop the pan's boiling over' or 'sorry, someone at the door.'
mercy - if you've not lost weight maybe you've lost inches? I don't seem to have lost more than a lb and 4 oz but my body shape is definitely changing.
I have been good and made up a chilli and a curry to go in the freezer so that there is always something to eat. The longer I follow this woe the more organised I am getting . Just hope that I see a difference in the hb1a levels when my bloods are done.0 -
mazz - bloke phoned to talk to SOMEBODY about life choices of your nearest then after discussing it with you, likely found he had nothing more to say. Not good form, but he obviously didn't want to be arsed repeating himself to your nearest. Tis a poor show, and no wonder you're fed up with it! eat sugary things, that'll sort you out.:eek::eek:
serena - sadly I've blomphed out:(:( not thinner at all. Would love thinner....;)
Oh, yeah. mazzers - quit it with the sugary things, yous gonna make youself ill babelicious! (sicko! urgh!) Love you hunni!
Big love

I'll never get to work.0 -
Have to say, sticking to 80 sit-ups (4 diff types) twice a day, for last 10 days, I can hold my tumkin in much better
Will up it to 100 from now on :rotfl:
Wow, respect to Mercy!! I couldn't do one sit-up atmHave decided that my belly & boobs are my worst [STRIKE]big[/STRIKE] bits
Maybe doing sit-ups & having a boob reduction are the way to go

Lol, I've just been sat doing it as well!!Can see me going back & back to it when I have more time!!
Good morning peeps :hello:
Woke early with things buzzing through my head (not a fly this time ) so just decided to get up & have some coffee.
Mercy, could you have fluid retention?? It's been so hot & sticky here & I feel like I'm retaining water because of it. Have been drinking more water to compensate so maybe that's it with you??
Well, I'm in for a busy old day today. Have to take my Dad for a check-up as he may have fluid on his belly (side effect from having heart probs) so wondering where that will take me if he does??
Also worried about the stray cat as he acted a bit strangely last night, started walking a bit funny, like a slow march with one front paw going up high?? Sounds funny (& it was to begin with) but quickly realised it wasn't rightOnly lasted a few seconds & then he was back to normal but will phone the CPL lady today for advice. He's absolutely fine this morning, he's just come in for some food.
Anyway, I'd better go & drink my coffee, probably cold by now.
Might see you all later :wave:0 -
Back on the straight and narrow.
Had a slice of my bread toasted and a coffee.
Had awful windy tummy last night and have had complaints off my youngest this morning
Glorious day, but lots of cleaning to catch up on.
The bathroom looks like a gang of students have been living in there.
I will be checking my 'unusual places' for plooks in the coming days :rotfl:
Will be needing to be organised with food today, dont want any more carb fests.0 -
Morning,
Was beautiful this morning and now its clouding over and my hayfever has gone crazy:eek:
Weighed myself first thing this morning at 8st 7lbs:D Probably about to go and put some back on as i'm starving, bacon eggs and sausage cooking right now.
Been looking at the coconut oil online, quick question, does it make your food taste very coconutty? I dont mind a little coconut but i'm not the biggest fan and i dont want have all my food taste of it!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
If you're using it for cooking I find the taste imperceptible. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Up with this I will not put! We were half way down page two, falling away into the black hole of MSE.
Made a lovely chili-non-carne. Quorn, onion, garlic, chili, bell pepper, tinned toms and a tin of kidney beans. I know the beans are verboten on LC but I fancied them anyway. Not sure what to have with it, will have to be salad I think. Have some taco shells but that may just be pushing it too much. Used to top with crushed doritos and melted cheese in the good old days. Sigh.
Feeling thinner (haven't weighed myself as quite like deluding myself)."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
