Evening, it is a beautiful day.

Just watching the tennis:D Had a good lc day today except for a few squares of G&B 85% cocoa chocolate.

Need to go to the shops for more veggies but other than that think i'm stocked for the rest of the week. Might just have salad rather than veg actually seeing as its so lovely.

Can someone recommend a good salad dressing? I've been using pizza express house dressing but i'm a bit worried about the omega 6 levels after some of Teds posts. I tried making a vinaigrette myself but it was pretty rank. A recipe or a recommendation would be good.

Gammon on offer in tesco. two packs for £3, but mine was much too thick, i think it was a mistake, thought it would be a pack of 2 but only 1 thick one in each
    Nice and meaty though.

BF bought these. I found mine very salty. Dont think I'd buy them again. I need to find some tofu recipes I think...getting a bit bored with meat.

Should really be heading off to bed, but enjoying the tennis so much. Come on Baltacha!!!

They are a bit over processed, and are meant to be thick, i looked today.

Sweet, thanks for the thoughts on spirulina, i'm off to google it icon14.gif

forgot to tell you that i made the onion bahjis again but with my tweaks
i only used 100g almonds 2 eggs and 50ml cream with a splash of water but still used 3 onions double the amount of cumin and left more of the chilli seeds in

they were really nice - more like the real thing and less eggy :)

I may have a try at this recipe. I was a bit worried about the eggy-creamyness so may have a go now. Lurve onion bhajis.

Mazzers -sounds like he is trying to have his cake and eat it too. Mmmm cake. Its always difficult when there are kids involved but it sounds like he is making this an excuse. Could he not ring your lad's mobile? I think its time you found a nice, available sexy man....now where do we find one of those???

I've just eaten a massive bowl of strawberries. Resisted the popcorn and dragged OH away from McDs. He was even thinking of treating me to a meal out but I thought that was too much for my poor willpower to handle today.

Nighty night all. Sweet (non sugar, low carb) dreams. x

    Morning ladies and gents,

Just had some brazil nuts and a little cheese for breakfast. Should keep me going til lunch.

Have taken some lovely fillet steaks out the freezer for dinner, will have with loads of brocolli and garlic butter:D

Been reading Mercy's recipe thread, some great ideas there. Will definately be trying your fudge, i'm assuming its fresh mozzarella for the bottom layer? How thick do you slice it?
Also bookmarked the sesame crackers and crustless quiche recipes. Will be doing lots of cooking next week i think.
