Good morning everyone!!
ive been so tired the last two days, not going to sleep that late but i keep waking up alot during the night so not the greatest feeling when i have to drag myself out of bed in the morning  cant wait for it to be weekend already.
Last night had a change and had lamb chops (not had lamb in ages) loved it. want to make a lamb roast this weekendsomething to look forward to. But not chops, maybe a lamb leg. thing is im not a good cook
and abit scared of cooking something like that (but i want to eat it!!) :rotfl:anyway was thinking could i preboil cook something like that and then season it again and put in oven to roast? or is this not acceptable one bit?
Put your lamb in the roasting tin, cover with oil, throw in a few garlic cloves (unpeeled) cover with foil, (or double foil) and put into a very hot oven, then turn down to very low and cook for several hours.
Will fall off the bone0 -
Not acceptable, and unnecessary.

Will fall off the bone

I am going to post my food and exercise here, in an attempt to shame myself into being good. I can't seem to stick to it for long so I need a kick up the bum when I start to slide.
Okay, Monday was:
B: homemade yogurt
L: cottage cheese with tomato, cucumber and peppersveggie burgers with melted cheese, brocolli and some mayo
Drinks: 1.75 litres squash, half a small glass of beer
Ex: 18 minutes on upright bike at gym
Tuesday so far:
B: homemade yogurt and small glass of gold top milk
L: mozzerella with tomato, cucumber, peppers and salad leaves
Drinks: I'm using a smaller glass today so estimate 0.8 litres squash so far.
Dinner I think will be veggie sausages with coconut and chili chard if I can dig out the recipe. I've brought my gym stuff with me so that should make me go. I feel so guilty if I cycle straight home with my gym stuff.
By the way, Focus's post has reminded me, if anyone is craving chocolate mousse just mix cocoa powder and splenda in a pot of cream, it goes all mousse-like and is so rich! Lovely.0 -
I just had a bowl of meatball from subway (saves me some pennies and was very tasty) will have that again one day if im stuck for ideas.
Is it bad if i dont eat any yoghurt? i normally only eat cheese for dairy or cream.0 -
mazzers, I like your fighting talk, hope you got things sorted with Manager. I suppose Managers are just peeps at the end of the day & they have problems the same as the rest of us, but they certainly shouldn't bring them into work & take it out on other peeps, not good management skills.
Littlemiss, yum yum to your chocolate mousse, I have the ingredients so might treat myself tonight!!
focus, I've only just started eating yoghurt in smoothies but I didn't bother before that. If you are worried about calcium intake, you are still getting that in some veggies (broc is one, I think??) & do you take supplements as well??0 -

Dinner sorted for tonight though - having salmon salad, just tinned salmon, lettuce, coleslaw, boiled egg, cheese and a few jersey royal potatoes for the low-gi bit.0 -
