I saw you, i was spying on you
Were you naked... or was that a body stocking you were wearing
:rotfl::rotfl:
I am never naked!! I even wear clothes to have a bath/shower!!
Oh, very conveniently forgot to mention the 7 or 8 chips i had with it
Tut, tut, you'd never catch me doing that :whistle:sweets - liquid will be included in the lunch, how did you guess?
You get to know peeps on this thread, that's how!! Will guess it's going to be amber coloured as well!! :rotfl:
As for the chicken drumsticks, I sprinkle em with worcester sauce and/or veg stock cube then roast for 40-50 mins, turning occasionally. Always taste great.
Sounds [STRIKE]easy[/STRIKE] good to meonly have 'loose' stock (Marigold??) but I'm assuming that would work the same way.

See, told you:p:p:p:D;)
Lol, I do have a touch of the madness sometimes!! Just feeling really positive atm, don't worry, it won't last, I'll go back to my normal, hormonal rantings soon enough!! :rotfl:
i feel like ive let myself down. I wasnt even hungry i just ate cos i was bored.Hmm, i think i've been going over my allowance for a couple of weeks
It's very disheartening
What are you two like?!It's the weekend, lighten up!! :rotfl:
Seriously though, you haven't let yourself down, focus, just look at it as a blip & put it behind you. I have had many, many, many blipsbut thanks to this thread I keep [STRIKE]literally[/STRIKE] bouncing back
Sometimes it's the next day & sometimes it's the next week, but the important thing is I'm not just giving up completely & wallowing like a big fat hippo (no offence to hippos, I love them actually) like I used to do.
mazzers, you shouldn't feel disheartened either, you have done great since you started low-carbing. Why don't you book the blood test appointment & rule out any medical reasons for you feeling tired all the time?? Feeling weary must have a negative effect on your mood/positiveness, it would get me down. It may be the meds you are on, my Dad is always tired, but it's best to find out.0 -
Good morning lovely peeps :hello:
Been awake since just after 5 amGot woken up by a buzzing noise, sounded like something was in my pillowcase!! Eek!! Definitely in bed with me whatever it was!! Pillowcases were washed & hung outside yesterday to freshen them up so I think I've brought something in with them. Makes me squirm to think it's shared my pillow all night!! _pale_
Anyway, I've discovered that I can only multi-quote 3 times, I suppose MSE are trying to reduce the size of posts, hah, that didn't work did it!! :rotfl:
I'm invited to a family BBQ today so wondering if I can resist pigging out after I've soaked up the [STRIKE]alcohol[/STRIKE] atmosphere?!
Right, I'm off to make another cup of coffee, have a lovely day everyone :wave:0 -

Since reading The Diabetes Revolution by Dr Charles Clark a couple of weeks ago I have transformed my diet and am looking forward to transforming my life!
Whilst I haven't got diabetes, and my doctors keep on testing me as I'm substantially overweight, it's only sensible to not walk into the lion's den without first struggling against it. The family has a inherited genetic problem with the males having increased tricylerides levels and have now lost 3 close members to directly related conditions. My levels are all within normal range but I still worry about the weight.
I've never managed low fat/low calorie diets as I was never saited. The high carb reliance is so frustrating - eat lovely bread > want more lovely bread > eat whole loaf of lovely bread!
So... out with the 'norm' and in with the 'strange' and, after about 10 days I feel great. Not lethargic at all though I did expect it; increased mental activity and increased interest in life. At night I sleep deeper and wake more refreshed. During the day I'm not hungry and don't crave any particular food which is the BEST joy of this.
I've cut out alcohol for this first month and have moved effortlessly from one who enjoyed a glass a night with family/friends/food to not wanting it. I open the fridge, see 6 bottles on the wine rack and move on - amazing.
It may get more difficultfor now I'm enjoying the freedom from food controlling me!

Nice to hear from you Gers - best of luck
I've just made a breakfast smoothie from the random ingredients in my cupboard:
- Cashew nut butter
- Green&Blacks drinking chocolate
- Dried coconut milk
- Silken tofu
Made a lovely fluffy, creamy shake which I'm sipping away on now - most comforting and proteintastic. I WANT TO GET BETTER!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Morning Me Lovelies
Hope everyone is happy and healthy this morning
I didnt post yesterday due to me spitting my dummy out.I've been sticking strictly to low carbing all week and watching every aspect but for some bizarre reason I put 2lbs on in 2 days:eek:I dont mind putting weight on when I've got good reason but this was downright unfair so I spent yesterday sulking and I spent loads of money on Littlewoods Sale on new clothes to cheer myself up:DHubby is Low Carbing at the moment and has lost 5lbs so far this week and knew better than to criticise my spending spree so he's gonna have to do overtime to pay for it;)
But spent most of yesterday on the loo and got up having lost the 2lbs again today so it must have been fluid and I really have to be more careful in making sure I take enough fluid in.I tend to be lax when I'm really busy and pay for it later on the scale:mad:
Mazzer-We all reach plateaus so maybe you are at one
Focus-I slip from the way of the LC many times its just a case of getting back on with it and losing the extra you've put on

Morning all. *waves*
(I really have no idea why I wave.....I probably wouldn't if I was walking into a room you were all in.. ) :rotfl:
Anyway, my OH who started his diet again last week, has lost 8lbs......the git. I, on the other hand, found them for him. :rolleyes:How the heck do I get motivated again? Very fed up person. I have a 'can only diet when happy' thing going on. Stupid really but when I'm stressed (most of the time ) or got loads to do in the house etc, then I just cant seem to gather enough ..... 'whatever it is I need'.....to eat properly. I'm my own worst enemy. Mmmm....maybe I need psychiatric help of some kind.
*snaps fingers together* Or hypnotised.might give that one some thought, lol.
Have to go out to buy a birthday present for daughter's friend and father's day pressie. Nearest suitable shopping place is a 50 mile round trip and I cant be bothered. Tesco is only a 30 mile round trip away......trying to convice daughter that friend would like something from there. :rotfl:She's not having it.
Have a good day all. See you later.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Morning all
I had 'rice' last night with my chilliFound the idea on another site. Grated cauli...what would we do without cauli eh?
I'm going to try 'fried rice' ie grated cauli fried in oil with some onions with tonights curry
I think I need to investigate some veggie recipes. I'm getting a bit bored with so much meat. Also DD told me that I smell of meat  Am now paranoid.
Mum and Dad are doing brilliantly at lcing. Dad has lost 2 stones and Mum has lost just over a stone in 3 weeks! Mum didnt have that much to loose in the first place! Makes my half a stone look a bit pathetic
Have a good saturday folks xx0
