Just popping in to say Take That were absolutely amazing last night!!:T:T
The best concert I have ever seen and if anyone gets the chance to get tickets for this tour do! Even if you don't particuarly like Take That the performances were superb!!:T:T
Gary was as gorgeous as ever but he didn't spot me sitting at the back:rolleyes:
James morrison was also playing and he was pretty good too:)
Didn't get wet even though it was raining cos the millenium stadium has a roof..... forgot that:rolleyes:
Anyway back to LC,
Someone asked what I have with that quick chicken curry I posted... I normally just eat that as its so delish:D
Mazzers - those brownies sound nice;)
G & B - you could always make savoury pancakes to have with your fajita's. They are not as strong but still do the job perfectly (well I enjoy them) and they only work out to be 1 or 2 carbs each. In fact I haven't made these for a long time so might just make them for the weekend:D
Cauliflower pizza - made this quite a few times but never got it right:rolleyes:, however, mercys mexican fudge is a firm favourite in this house (with lots of chillis.... doesn't have the same effect as Sweet:p)
Sweet - you're off your box:p:D but well done on the weight loss and the exercising...... this is what I need to do:rolleyes:
xIf you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

I've not eaten very much over the past few days as since Tuesday I've been kinda scared to eat too much. Though am still slurping on the beetroot juice.
I'm finding it difficult to low carb and eat low fat at the same time. And there is only so much vegetables I can eat. I really need to try and take the time to meal plan and/or research some more,
At work yesterday I had to force myself to eat some salad from the dining room. Was sore last night but had to give in through hunger and had a slice of toast and jam and the same for breakfast this morning.
Lunchtime I had the meat from the steak pie from the canteen but without the puff pastry and broccoli and cauli
Was thinking today....ach I'm gonnae give up low carbing but I dont think I could go back to "dieting "..... and counting calories.
So am sticking with you lot,:D
Apologies if Im getting on anyones nerves .......I feel Im turning into one of those women who wears a headscarf and a pinny and who's favourite phrase is " I'm a martyr to my bowels":eek::eek: /gallbladder:rotfl:
I so feel for you. I remember the gallbladder days. Personally I found chilli/curry the worst for me. Well done for keeping on the low carbs though. (you're doing better than me and I don't have your excuse!). Rather than eat bread- which has carbs, sugars and all sorts of nastyness, if you feel the need to stray off the carb wagon I would add a little brown pasta or even brown rice. Very filling and lower GI (sugars). I definately crave rice less than bread so for me eating a bit of rice is less likely to make me go carb crazy and throw myself at the mercy of the local baker.:D If you can stick to icing I would have a look at the recipes on page one in case there is anything there you think would work for you. I'm a fan of quiche -eggs are very filling. I don't eat high fat foods -I still get some discomfort-but I probably eat more carbs than the other guys on here to compensate.

Thanx for that Marrowgirl, I just feel that over the last few weeks, after years of neglecting and pretty much eating what I want, I just find this GB prob so restricting.
I'll try the wee bit of wholewheat pasta rather than the bread and jam.
I'm one of those people who can eat pasta for breakfast.....
The thing is, that I'm scared to eat fats because of the pain I'll get and I'm scared to go back to carbs in case I go back to the days,.....only a few weeks ago, when I'd run....well, not quite run, but walk very fast, to the wee shop up the road to buy 2 (or 3 ) packets of crisps before the shop closes,....just in case I needed them:rotfl:
Luckily I'm ok with eggs, so will check out the recipes. Again Thanx Marrowgirlcheerio hen0 -

I quite like Gary.He has twinkly eyes.:rotfl:
I have James Morrison's 'Broken Strings' belting out of my ipod when I'm DIYing. I sing along loudly. :rotfl:
Morning peeps. *waves* *sticks tongue out at Sweet cos I'm here first today. :rotfl:
Can't sleep.Funny how you always do your best worrying at night. Went to bed about 11ish and lay there till 1am. OH is out like a light and my head wont switch off so I got up again. Sat with my excel budget spreadsheet juggling figures and they just wont juggle successfully.
Our food bill every week is astonishing and I have no idea how to cut it down.Meat for me, fruit and salad stuff for OH and middle one in particular is costing a fortune. We're limited as to where we can shop so dont have the luxury of markets etc. We use a whole lettuce, at least half a cucumber, a pack of small toms, a bunch of spring onions and a pepper each day....as well as at least 4 apples, 2 bananas and half a pack of grapes or strawberries.....per day for at least 5 days of the week. It's costing a fortune for them to eat like a rabbit! Who said it was cheaper to take a packed lunch to work? (As adults, I cant impose icing on them so it's their choice to eat a lot of salad and fruit, btw.)
I was in a rush the other day and we only have a Sommerfield in our town so I had no choice as to where to shop. I was £27 for salad stuff and 4 chicken breasts. A pack with 2 small gem lettuce in it was a pound. I'm more organised most of the time and drive out to other places to shop at Tesco or Morrisons but even they aren't always all that cheap.
Ok...just realised I'm 'on one' now so I'll stop ranting and go back to my spreadsheet.See you all later.

Feeling great today, the sun is shining:j
TOTM so must resist chocolate, not been too bad, have a bar of green and black 70% cocoa in the fridge and a couple of little squares is enough to stave off cravings. Tried the 85% stuff but its a little too bitter, will try and convert though.
Hope every has a great low carb day:beer:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm officially ill
Virus going around BF's department at work, though he seems to have avoided so far... so I've got sore throat, bunged up and generally sleepyNot assisted by the lodger keeping me awake all night AGAIN
Bleurgh! Still can't touch the scales until my sunburn is properly out of the way - I realised last night that the sides of my lower back have actually scabbed over, which is nice. And I have no idea what I want to eat.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Poor Badger, get well soon.
Btw, that YouTube clip was soooo funny, loved it!!
Hmmmmm, seems I can't multi-quote as much as I tried to!! Some have disappeared?! Where are you quotes??
From memory (which is carp at the best of times) I think I was quoting
Mercy - hope you enjoyed your Comedy Night & enjoy your late lunch tomorrow (would that be a liquid late lunch perchance??)
Mini - lol at the 'headscarf & pinny' martyrdom!! And no, you are not getting on our nerves, so don't worry about it, hen!! Isn't there a saying that if you are fair, fat, female & forty then you stand a good chance of succumbing to gallbladder probs?? That's me boggered then!! :rotfl:
Sorry, can't remember if there was anyone else, told you my memory was carp!!0
